Thought to share with anyone in the market for a MP-14 Red Alert in the coming weeks. It is finally available again for preorder at TFW2005 Sponsor, HobbyLink Japan. This is surprising because it preorder was closed shortly after they put it on the site. In contrast, MP-12 Lambor was never offered again on HLJ.

It is retailing for 20% off its retail price of 5800 yen. Also, until the 19th of this month, HLJ is offering 20% off any shipping method, including FedEx and EMS. Hopefully, this will mean a lot of you will save a lot of money or at least get this one at a good price.

I just preordered one!

It is limit one per customer and they don't charge until it is released...

With all the paint issues on MP-12 and possible issues on MP-14 im gonna get it from BBTS so they can help me if there are any problems with mine.

Actually, Lambor WAS available again about a week or two after he was "discontinued", I managed to grab mine during a random restock.

I got a shipping notice too! It is a great price. I had mine shipped SAL, how does that work? Does USPS pick the package up in the states and deliver it that way?

 

Sufrace Air Lift, and yes it gets passed to USPS.


IIRC, it goes by plane, but packages sent by higher priority methods take precedence.

So it gets put on the plane when they decide there's room.

Ordinarily, it takes maybe 2-3 weeks (?)

This time of year, you might be waiting a bit longer.

 

Mine's shipped. I'm ecstatic I got it for like $60 when I was prepared to go about $80-90.
