Haven't seen anybody attempt a reshell of the Lambo d00ds so I had to give er a go.

The kit is a 1/25 scale WW2 Jeep which even came with the mortar canon. (As well as a 50 cal) The rear section is glued into place. I'll need to extend the wheelbase as well as slightly widen the body to get everything to fit.

Instead of lengthening the wheelbase and widening the toy, why not just cut the body down to fit? I think that would work better.

The real reason you're having trouble getting it to fit is because Sideswipe is much smaller than 1/25 scale.

I like what I see thus far. Everything seems to look good, plus the kit seems to fit MP-12's body. I'm really enjoying the overall look.

Side question: are you using an official MP-12 or a KO?

Plenty of high quality ones for cheap on ebay.

And even this doesn't combine, it'll still make a great stand-alone Swindle to go with Universe Onslaught.

The Reshell Master is at it again!!

Hopefully Has/Tak is watching....that way they'll know what to do whenever they decide to make their version.

I just bought the same kit over the weekend. Sideswipe is between 1:26 and 1:30th scale, but the jeep is much smaller, somewhere closer to the classics Hound. The Willys WW2 Jeep is a very small vehicle in real life as well.
