I got mine just a couple minutes before 12:00.

More will be available tomorrow for those that missed out today.

    Maybe :D

Ok yeah I did. I wanted to see how easy it was and hope the other SDCC eclusives will be this easy next week.

Yeah today was just for the Premium members at the lower cost. Tomorrow, regular cost for everyone else. Good luck everyone!

Somehow I should have known they'd pull some BS like this and open it up a few minutes earlier than the quoted time of noon EST. I still suspect there was a significantly low stock made available for this, which gives me about zero optimism for snagging one tomorrow, either.

If there are more to order, I would suggest logging in early of noon tomorrow.

If I had paid money for this premium membership I'd be pretty upset.

That sucked. Was barely there and gone even while I was waiting for it to go live. I'm thrilled for the few of you who were able to land one, though. I wonder how many they have set aside, if any, for the general sale tomorrow. Frankly, as laggy is the site started to get, i get the feeling that a number of people who had it in their carts weren't going to get it anyway. I didn't even get that far. Saw it was "coming soon" then "sold out" within a minute of page refreshing.

I feel good having been fortunate enough to get one, but premium membership aside, it is not like this is something new with HTS (or Pulse now). Can't tell you how many times I have had something sell out in my cart. It is even worse when it sells out, you have to update your cart, another item sells out while doing that, rinse repeat. But not like hot items haven't sold out within seconds year after year where it should be any shock.

It would be interesting to know how many may've been "set aside" for the premium perk today versus what may be available tomorrow or if there were only x-number and it's done.

    Guess we will know tomorrow.

What was nice was that Pulse never slowed, froze or failed altogether during the situation.

Don't worry, same for me... sold out while I was checking out. Ah well. Gonna try again tomorrow. If not... eBay it is. Not owning one isn't an option for me, I like it too much. :)

Are they charging different prices? I thought it's $149.99 now and forever?

Cheapest one I found so far for a BIN price:

New 2019 SDCC Hasbro Ghostbuster Transformers toys Ecto-35 MP-10G Optimis Prime | eBay

Of course some retailers like Chosen Prime and ToyDojo have theirs still up I think.

Transformers Ghostbusters Mash-Up – MP OPTIMUS PRIME Ecto-35 Edition

    https://www.toydojo.com/transformers-mp-10g-optimus-prime-ecto-35-edition-sdcc-2019-exclusive/

I thought the non-Premium pricing was about $160ish?

Oh, I can tell you that it definitely slowed on my end when trying to refresh the page a few times when it was going live. I could tell it was being hammered.

I consider having an item go out of stock instantly after it was added to my cart and I proceed to the checkout screen as a failure. I understand stock is limited, but if it goes out of stock the moment after it's successfully added, that's not a stock issue to me, that's a system issue.

Thanks! Though I'd be skittish ordering anything from Hong Kong right now...

It's all good! I just have to keep reminding myself that whatever inflated aftermarket price I pay is still way cheaper than attending SDCC would have been. :)

I had funds sitting in my Paypal account and decided to check out that way. I knew it was a risk but I managed to secure one. Really surprised it wasn't taken from my cart during the checkout process.

For those trying tomorrow, I would definitely try refreshing before the announced time. The email for Premium release stated "around 12pm EST".

Yeah PayPal was my saving grace as opposed to manually typing in a card number. I was wearing out my F5 key about 5 minutes before noon ET.
