The latest version of MP-10 in the finale of the history of this mold for 9 years.
Oddly we never got an official "dead" version but we get a 'trapping the dead" version.
It would have been nice to have a Sleep Convoy for sure. The closest was the BAPE version.
I've heard of transformers having backpacks before, but this is a bit silly.
i dont understand these ghostbuster themed transformers?
You probably never will then... transformers have had crossovers before.
Here's a mystery most don't know about... why transformers star wars crossovers existed.
Edit: due to it being on laptop... brb.
here you go.
What's not to understand? It's all about taking advantage of mid-80s nostalgia while it seems to be at an all-time high (see also: Stranger Things influencing the reissue of New Coke (ugh) and Pizza Hut resurrecting their old logo) to make some $$$$ off of collectors in their 40s with disposable income. Ghostbusters & Transformers, two great tastes that taste great together! Or maybe you missed the crossover comic that has been announced (and possibly released?)? This makes more sense to me then Transformers & Star Trek, but to each their own.
Any word if and when this will be available on Hasbro Pulse and do you have to be a 'Pulse Premium Member'?
If it's offered it'll probably only last 30 seconds again.
i guess.... I'm just not into it at all it just doesnt make sense to me, i don't like ghostbusters so i guess thats a reason, not sure
At first I was also skeptical about this crossover but have come to enjoy the concept. As a starwars fan, and obvious Transformers fan, I could never grow to love the idea the Millennium Falcon would turn into a robot.
But somehow this crossover makes sense. We\'ve seen since day 1 back in the 80s, that the Transformers love to hide in plain sight along with the humans. Bay, and all the producers, comics, etc. continue to carry the same notion. One could imagine (in the original GB movie) when Ray Stanz bought an old car that the Ghostbusters turned into Ecto-1, it could have already been a dormant transformer (like the whole Bumblebee thing with Charlie, and later Sam). Then as the ghosts of Cybertron arrived on Earth he got into action as a robot. Hell, we can even imagine he used his Cybertronian knowledge to help develop their proton packs. Maybe even Optimus helped during that period, in the events leading up to the 2007 movie. So for me the concept and story mesh together.
Anyway, I think it helps to also be a fan of Ghostbusters to appreciate this mix. But I also agree with others here, let\'s have this Transformers crossover continue with Back to the Future, A-team, Knight Rider, any other cool nostalgic vehicle-based movies or TV shows! Not necessarily with Optimus, but the representative cars and vans...
Hasbro sent me one to check out!
I guess I’ll pick one up at SDCC if I get the chance. I’m sort of on the fence about the whole concept but I know once it’s sitting in front of me I’ll be struck by FOMO and buy it.
Has anyone got a shipping notice from The NTWRK on the MP-10G that was on pre-sale this week?
Our copy showed up yesterday too. Round 1 of shots are up!
Optimus Prime (MP-10G) (Ecto-35) - Reflector @ TFW2005
I really like the idea of an A-Team Ironhide that comes with a mini Mr. T.
Nope, nothing yet.
I gotta admit, MP10 is possibly the most collectible Optimus since the original; tons of molds.
I personally dont get them all. If I did get multiple it would be OG, Nemisis, Gold Lagoon (no, not shower), and Shattered Dimensions. For the diehard MP10 collector, though, this is straight up icing.
Separate names with a comma.
