Haven't seen this anywhere online, so pardon me if it's already been discussed/discovered (and delete this post if so)

Whoa!! That's so cool!! Do you have to remove the windows to do that? I can't wait to try it out on my MP-10 when I get home. I have the Takara one, wonder if it's different.

I had thought those were glued in, but I tried it on mine and it popped right out of the slot.

It's really loose, though, so I don't know how often I'd leave them like that. But it was tight when I popped it back into the normal position. Nice find!

no need to remove anything. There shouldn't be glue (least wasn't any on the TRU version) The BACK of the pin holding the wiper in it's place is melted so it doesn't come out. if it somehow gets loose, I suggest a super-small-dab of paint or glue FROM THE INSIDE. but like I said, these seem like they were SUPPOSED to do this.

*waits for flood of complaints about broken/lost wipers*

Seriously though, that's very cool. I never would have thought to try that.

It shouldn't break. pry it upwards. the tab is in the frame and is not glued in there. pops back in as well. Like I said, as if it was supposed to do this. If Takara/Hasbro intended it to stay put, they would have molded it in the same plastic that is the frame of the window. There's a reason the pins are melted on the back end only...so they can pivot.

FR, yeah it's definitely not glued. I meant I had just figured they were when I got it. :)

And by loose, I mean the ones on mine wobble around away from the window a bit instead of just rotating. It could just be a variance in the plastic on the back of the peg, but it's enough and such a small part, I'd worry about breakage.

So it's cool, but I think I'll be leaving mine in the regular position.

    That sounds about right.

When I got mine I had to pop the windshield back in on the corner of one side, and wondered why the heck they made the wipers separate pieces. :lol
