He looks like it but never go beyond 310 bucks unless you're desperate.

Yeah $250 + shipping is the standard at most stores. He is only $228 + shipping at Robotkingdom and you get a free coin too.

My thought is this, don't waste $300 getting MP10 op565 as sure as you do Hasbro will announce they are gonna release him by this time next year and you can get him for a fifth of that price.Even tho MP10 is sweet as he** (as all Takara MP's are) they just are not worth spending all that extra money for them.

But I am not telling you what to do but I just think you'd be happier knowing you'd save over $200 by waiting. Also I own both MP09 and Hasbro's MP Rodimus and honestly even tho I like the colors on MP09 better I actually prefer Hasbro's more since I only paid 1/3rd the price, and plus he came with his little targetmaster.Later.

It looks nice, but i'm sticking with MP04 myself.

Just thought i'd point you in the direction of Kapow Toys in the UK, they have MP10 in at £200, hoiked up from £170 when they realised people would buy it...

I just received mine yesterday. I think it is definitely one of the nicest Transformers I own and more a showpiece than any other figure because of Prime's recognizability. While waiting for the Hasbro versions sounds like a good plan, I jumped on the Takara one because I wanted to make sure I received one with good plastic quality. And the plastic quality is good. So good in fact that the red parts look like they are painted. It looks like a high-end figure, even more so than MP Grimlock and Rodimus.

A thing I've learned about Masterpiece releases is that you wait just a little bit longer, and you can probably save a bit of money by waiting for a Hasbro release or just for the hype to die down on the Takara one. Given this is Prime, you can be sure we're going to get a lot of production on this particular figure.

No I don't think so. He is way smaller then MP-01/04 and he has metal in only his feet how the hell can that be worth $250.00+ shipping? MP-04 sold for $205.00 on it's 2nd run and that had ALOUT more metal, and you really can't say that money went to tech on the figure because look at it like this. Transformers bean out for almost 30 years now and very optimus prime was a cab of a truck in some way. Take all the good things from all of what they made put it to MP-10 ISN'T THAT HARD TO MAKE!

All that it is that they know even if they jack the price really high people will still buy it. Because the truth is the transformers revenge of the fallen optimus prime the tech in that was REALLY good but still sold for leader class money.

The hole transformers price jack that bean goin on latey means that i'm moving to the MOTUC line for alittle because this is crazy.

i have this strange sickness where I cant have an Optimus without his trailer

    thus, Takara for me!
[that and due to the way the back of Prime's cab mode looks formed by the legs just looks kinda bad without the trailer there kinda covering it up. Thats the ONE and only fault i can find with this figure. Other than its crazy $250 price tag of course]

im tryin to save up for one right now :p
