Is there anyway to fix that nasty gap in between MP-10's windows in bot mod? It's not a huge issue, but big enough to notice. Anyone tackled this/has ideas?
Look closely at the chest windows. One of them might either be warped or not completely in the frame. If one is sticking out more than it should, it will push against the alt mode bumper and cause the gap. Read through the feedback thread for more details on how to fix it. If the windows aren't out of place, things probably just need aligned better. Squeeze the robot mode grill in a little tighter by pressing near the top of it and on Optimus's back, then gently press the chest pieces closer together to get rid of the gap. You should be warned that if you have the TRU version, this might cause two screws to make small indents in the alt mode bumper. People have recommended filing the heads down, tightening them, or just taking them out completely. If you tighten them, be careful as it might cause stress marks on the front of the chest if the screw goes down too far. Personally, I just left them as they were. The indents are so small they don't bother me. Hope that helped. ~Matt Booker
