just got mine here in the philippines. it's mostly made of plastic and it's got flimsy arms and legs. and there are "flaps" in the arms and thighs that easily come loose. i'm quite disappointed in the paint. i've got some chipping and bubbles already in the shoulders.

    Welcome, Pocus & Alvin.
Hmmm. Sounds like QC on MP-05 is a bit of a mixed bag... *crosses fingers*

Mine's coming from FantoFan assuming he e-mails me back in a timely matter. I realize it's just one guy but replying to an e-mail regarding a $200+ order should take less then 3 days. :(

Yeah, that's what his email update said today. I'm bummed out, but it will all be worth it not to have the horrific orange tip on mine.

The QC on MP-5 is very good. I have no complaints whatsoever in terms of QC. There's no paint chipping, stress marks etc. Even the box, tray and instruction manual are of higher quality paper and plastic than previous releases like MP-3 and 4.

What I'm not too happy with is the difficulty of getting him to stand upright. His fusion cannon causes him to tilt to his right a little and the ball joints on his feet don't have enough clearance for bending backwards so the figure tends to slouch forward, at times causing him to fall forward.

I'm also a little worried about the gray/silver plastic parts that hold the legs to the waist. I hope they last over the long term and don't crack or anything after some months or years especially after frequent transforming.

after doing his photoshoot, i find his articulation quite satisfactory despite the lack of waist joint. he can achieve some poses which even mp1 cant since he has better weight distribution and the softer plastic of his leg joints make him more flexible (mp1s ratchet joint actually limits small incremental movement). you just need a bit of practice and hes lotsa fun.
