We all had a fair idea, such a thing was going to happen eventually... but i for one didn't expect anything until around the 25th aniverseary.

I'm taking this with a hefty dose of salt for now.....

Hell, three easy repaints if you count Sunstorm. But obviously, I wouldn't want to see him before Skywarp/Thundercracker.

Takara did say they were going for adult collectors with more infrequent, but more major, releases.

    This'd make sense there.

    ...wow... That's just freakin' awesome!

Three easy repaints: Thundercracker, Skywarp and Sunstorm.

A little retooling to: Ramjet and Dirge.

    A different retooling to: Thrust.

A nice possability of seven figures coming out of one mould. I can't wait till we see something more concrete. Wonder if this will make it state side or not? Considering they didn't bring over MP-02... but maybe since SS is more well known?

Ive never had an issue with Megs as a tank, G2 Megs rocked imo if he had kept more G1 colours he would have been even better.

If they did a MP based of the G2 megs but with a G1 colour scheme and MP level of detail and articulation that would rock.

Indeed, and while it makes sense... I'm still somewhat... eh, I dunno, just doesn't seem like this'd be what they were going for.

If it's true I will dance a happy dance.

I mean I guess they're going for the whole "Chogokin" thing, big expensive stuff, I would have thought they would have kept going with the Hybrid stuff.... just given the size and relative cost. But I dont know how well those things sell, so... eh.

I hope the prices don't go up on these guys if there will be repaints... Magnus' price point was the same as Convoy's if I recall...

I've always felt it was probably the price that hurt the sales of 20th Prime the most. A lot of TF fans are stingy with their money, or just cheap and wait for everything to go on clearance, so $60 was probably a kick in the balls. 20th Prime was somewhat overpriced in my opinion. Sure, its partly diecast, but it's smaller than a Supreme, and should've cost no more than one.
