As I recall, the arms each have a peg on them that plugs into the bar that runs through the center of the figure. You have to make sure they're in correctly.

Ouch... although he does look worth the price! He look gorgeous.

Yeah just wait for the unashamed fake that steals Takara's engineering.

    @Ethan personaff

The collector store has confirmed with me this July for Ironhide. When, I don't know. They said next week at the earliest, but most likely not.

    ME TO!!!!!
    I am a scale junkie!

Especially the vehicles.. I am even at the point I scratchbuild my own ratchet..
And i have "A list" to know witch ones scale well with the Studio Series deluxes (Bublebee, Jazz and Stinger are all 1:39 scale)
I know some scale perfectly with them so if you are interested I can share the list or pictures to..

I am also curious about Que/Wheeljack and Jolt (both of them to see witch scales best)

Witch brings me to a dream list..
What figures would your top 5 be in the Studio series to be released in the future.
What moulds should be used and what should be altered to make them better?

For me the list would be:

    Que/Wheeljack:
the only deluxe mould we have,
better blue, scaled down to SS deluxe size (1:39) no mechtech ports

    Skids and Mudflap:
Revenge of the Fallen deluxe, scaled down to SS size (I know he will be smaller than Jazz but I do NOT care as long as they scale right) no mechtech ports.
(they could also be reused as the vehicons from AOE, just another head and a recolor maybe a reshell as a Trax)

    Sideswipe:
    the ROTF closed one,
scaled down, better blades and no mechtech ports and a better backpack

    Drift,
The AOE Bugatti scaled right, no mechtech holes and no spoiler.. I wish they make him a bit more like SS Jazz in engineering.. he rocks!

    Soundwave:
He never got the love he deserved.. they could reuse his AOE deluxe..
we need the SLS AMG but this time with better paint, no bud-flap and no mechtech ports
oh.. and scaled down to 1:39

What can I say about this figure that hasn't been said already?

I got this guy at the end of February, and we're now about half way through July, and I think this guy is still the number one contender for my favourite figure of the year, and probably my favourite figure in my whole collection. The robot mode oozes with character and personality, and is by far one of the most accurate (and transformable!) Movie Bumblebee action figures. He's beautifully articulated. I kind of wish he had a wider angle tilt, and the upper-arm swivel on mine is a little loose, but I'm looking for problems through a magnifying glass here!

The transformation is clever and intuitive without being frustrating or overly simple. You'll probably have to look at the instructions for the first one, but after that it'll come to you with ease! The car mode is lovely, and while not as decked out in decals as Barricade, it's got all the right ones to really sell that movie accuracy. Part of me wishes he was based on the the 2010 Camaro that was used in ROTF, as I like the look of that car a bit more. But again! Nitpicking. I can't get over how great this thing is, and I really can't recommend it enough. If you're a Movie fan and/or a Bumblebee fan, it's an absolute must have

Mine was sitting on display, so I didn't really play with it, and then it went into storage for now, but I bought a copy for a friend that I went to visit, and I kept finding myself fiddling with his because I'd forgotten how amazing of a figure it was.

I've done the same, where I just leave him on the shelf for a couple of weeks before coming back to him. And every time it's like handling him for the first time all over again! Such a fun toy

considering that new bumblebee has good articulation and has gimmicks.... i'm now looking forward to the beetlebee movie line since it apparently won't just have 1 step changer blocks that have sounds in them. its good to see gimmicks and articulation come together again...

I really wish I could find a decal of his autobot insignia for my KO's helmet. Only thing I regret about not getting the original.

I'm sure you mean his DotM deluxe. That deluxe Soundwave mould is way more popular than it deserves to be, maybe due to rarity; it's proportions we're all wrong. He definitely deserves another attempt.

I think hes a good figure and can fit in on any movie shelf collection. He has some flaws but hes far better then his AOE counterpart,I got 2 myself,so I could have one fight my Evasion Optimus and one fight my TLK Optimus. I almost feel like hes doesnt belong in SS at all. Hes almost the same size as SS Ratchet.

So, did anyone add any custom paint to their SS Lockdown yet?

    I was considering it.

Very minor, very subtle. Maybe some gold on the shoulder missiles, some silver near the toes, perhaps red brake pad/calipers?

I think Que and Jolt scale in vehicle mode as long as you use TLK autobots.

Pulled out SS Ratchet again yesterday, planning on selling since I’m now focusing on MPM scale. Instead I accidentally rediscovered how much I enjoy him.
