I just got the Movie Tribute Series Bumblebee set, and I have to say, I am impressed. TF1 Bumblebee is as fun as I remember, TF4 Bumblebee is okay, and despite some loose leg joints, TF5 Bumblebee is amazing. I can't imagine a better mainline Bumblebee being released.

I'm really curious how far they're going to take this MPM line. My hope is that they'd at least do the entire first movie's cast, then maybe move on to the sequels, if they're selling well enough.

It’d be really weird IMO if they didn’t see it through to the end of the 07 cast. So if we get at least all 13 characters from that movie (or 11 if you ignore scorponok and frenzy) then I’ll be happy

I really hope that if they did Blackout, he and Skorpinok would be a package deal. Then again, they ignored Frenzy with Barricade, so who the hell knows?

True, but with Ironhide incoming, they seem to be mostly sticking to the original bots aside from that one outlier. I wonder if they're just doing VW Bee right away because they actually have the license from doing MP-21 Bee right now. I don't know how soon they'd lose that, so maybe they're just making it while they can?

Nay, I think VW MPM BB is happening because of how toy companies typically like to shuffle in their new property with existing toylines/concepts. If Hasbro is trying to ramp up the BB movie as a direction change, it makes sense to represent the most recent iteration of Bumblebee in MP form.

Doesn't mean I like that they're doing this, but I can see their reasoning

I'm excited to see the upcoming MPM VW Bumblebee. I wonder if the alt mode will be the same size as the G1 MP Bumblebee. That would make for an interesting comparison.

Just do a class of '07 MPM Rattchet and Jazz already and let's have a proper Autobot '07 shelf.

Also worth considering, they probably want to make it now while they have the VW licensing agreement for Bee.

The thing is, the 07 deluxe Scorponok is still acceptable to me. I feel like including him in an MPM Blackout would be detrimental to Blackout. I’d rather them keep away from that. But if they could incorporate it properly then great

I thought the same. Then I pulled him outta storage. The size and sculpt are right but he has multiple gimmicks that hinder articulation. A deluxe sized MPM Scorponok would be welcomed.

I would live that. Although, the thought of selling all my old versions sounds so daunting.

Before the Ironhide masterpiece movie reveal I thought I'd share a transforming gif of my favorite Ironhide figure.

We so need a stop motion with HA Lennox tapping MPM Ironhide's hood and the "he's here. I smell him" line
