The whole 86 thing is wild. I hope it'll be done and over with in a year but I don't completely hate it. What I do hate is that it's permeating all lines and certain RFC hosts make comments like "Hasbro is finally seeing the light" through forcing G1 into ss.

 

It's allowing BW to make a comeback so I'm more then ok with it.

 

The fact that BW is basically confirmed has made me the same way. The best part is now you have A. Geewunners vs Cybertronians vs BeastWarriors. People are still complaining about g1. G1 is complaining about Beasts in their lines. And the BW fans are like, you still have Studio Series.

I actually dug out my helicopter Dropkick yesterday, and I gotta say I really like that figure. It doesn’t look anything like Dropkick in robot mode, so I totally get why people don’t like it, but I actually like the robot mode on Heli kick more that the one in the movie. The vehicle mode is also licensed and looks awesome! So while it’s not a good Dropkick, I think it’s a great figure. At some point I think I’ll repaint mine into a Genericon to fit in with the rest of my SS Decepticons.

I thought the upside-down sword was a reference to the statue outside TF: the ride, where Prime’s in a similar pose and also has the upside-down sword:
