If they went with actual scaling he'd be as small as a piece of lint

Frenzy could come with a rerelease of Barricade. Instead of coming with his death wheel, he could come with a Frenzy minifigure.

Ravage should've come with ROTF Soundwave, too bad Hasbro messed him up. They should revisit him with a new more accurate mold with Ravage too. Perhaps as a Voyager with Reedman and Scalpel to fill the price point like TLK Drift.

Mohawk could come with a Leader priced Nitro Zeus set. To fill the price, Nitro would have an accurate Shockwave head, extensive grafitti paint schemes, some retooled gold chains, and of course Mohawk. Mohawk himself could be Arcee-sized and transform into a motorcycle like theirs.

Sqweeks could probably come in a TLK set with a repaint of TLK Optimus.

2nd attempt going to truck mode. Went much more smoothly though it is still a huge pain to get the hood together, it just does not line up at all and it is so hard getting the middle section of it to tab in, those grey tabs on the middle part will not go into the hood halves

I hope i can get this figured out, I like the figure a lot, it's just kinda frustrating cuz I'm so close to having the truck all together

Nah. DOTM feels like a logical finale and I don’t love AOE and TLK enough to end movie nights on a cliffhanger that will never be resolved.

Definitely not objectively. On a subjective level I have some issues with the pacing, and I found the action didn’t have quite as much energy as the first 3 to make up for it so I just don’t watch it. I’m glad you like it though!

Been fiddling with this guy on and off for the last couple of days, trying to figure out how I feel about him

I'm not too keen on this design. Not saying I don't like it, but I don't love it either. Whereas Bumblebee's design from the same film at least feels like a bit of compromise between Bay-verse and G1, this guy, along with pretty much every other robot in the film bar Shatter and Dropkick, feels too much like those "G1 design but with Movie levels of detail" fan arts you'd see floating around years ago. It looks good in motion on screen, but the design itself just feels too "safe", for lack of a better term. Obviously I'm biased to the original trilogy design, but maybe if he'd taken a few more cues from that design I'd like him more

That said, whatever about the on-screen design, this figure is pretty damn cool! I had nearly considered selling him on account of my feelings for the design, but I just couldn't bring myself to part with something so well made. If his legs held together better he'd be damn near perfect, but that's a minor complaint as far as I'm concerned. It's also a testament to just how much Hasbro can get right on the first go. If we do see this design in a film again, I'll be genuinely shocked to see a better version of this design in plastic form

It's also the only mainline Optimus - movie or otherwise - to have a clean, real-word accurate hitch section that I've ever seen

Oh yes I see, we just have different points of view. I was mostly considering the thematics etc... Actually if you are considering the action then the first movies are the better

So I recently opened DOTM Optimus and he's a lot of fun! The jetpack and trailer are okay but I could've done without them. I'm really happy with the weapons and Optimus though. Even though I didn't necessarily need the trailer and jetpack, it's still really nice to have them. My copy has tight joints too which is good however his hands are extremely loose. It's difficult to have him hold his weapons in some cases. Does anyone else have this issue? Still, it doesn't affect the figure too much.
