It's gonna be that long?
We salute you, friend! Everyone else here has said it even better than me but I'll miss you and I'll await your return.
Man you guys are really making me curious about this mold. I kinda want to find out for myself how good/bad he is! The chopper mode is of course excellent and the bot mode looks intriguing but I dunno...
Thanks my friends. It’ll all be alright :] Can’t wait to see everyone’s reactions at my return post haha
Also @Shmoptimus Prime if you want to scope out the mold, I’d go for Blazemaster. The Evac version looks better, but is quite rare and expensive. And even though I like him, I don’t think he’s worth the price he goes for (if you can find him). Also he can’t pull off too many dynamic poses because of how tiny his feet are. Just my two cents. But hey if you gotta have Evac, go for it
Yeah. Graduation will be in early September. But I’ll get my phone back towards the end, so I can probably come back to TFW in August
Good luck! Everyone here will be ready to message you when the Fallen is revealed.
Stay safe out there man. I hope nothing but the best for you! Thank you for all that you do, and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
I read that as "Super weed." I need a coffee.
By the way, I'm thinking, what if we all worked together and made a comic series? As in, I do an issue, you do an issue, she does an issue, he does an issue, etc.? Might be fun.
see you soon.
I'd like to join, but it will be in a separate thread right?
Dang HASBRO continues to tease us.
@Megatron118 Good luck to you friend! Stay safe and be well. We will all be here when you return!
So scale question. How does Weijiang Blackout compare with Black Apple Prime and Black Mamba Megatron?
Ok in bot mode. Undersized in alt mode.
My one came with a broken piece (the hinge for the panel behind his head) and his electronics don't work (will look into finding batteries for him), but Leader Starscream is a thing of beauty. I'm actually glad I got this guy after the Studio Series one, because the little transforming weapons in his arms feel more like extra features, rather than stuff that was dropped going down a size class.
No lie, I would have loved that as a post credits scene.
Had to make room for Evac so I decided to put the traitor where he belongs
I really wish that they kept the forearm gatling gun gimmick for MPM-10.
Yup. I’ll mention you in it so you can come.
Looking at some images of the TF2 film, especially those related to the "climbing to the Keope pyramid", I noticed an interesting detail regarding the physycal structure of Devastator CGI, where, given the slope angle of the sides of the pyramid, it is the only occasion where you can see (in some moments) the combiner erected on the legs... the detail in question is that its general physical structure is "leaner" than when I imagined! First of all, let's say that its transformation into the film left in our imagination the idea of a "huge confused mass" of earthmoving machinery parts, which form a gigantic combiner with the appearance of a "monstrous gorilla"... idea accentuated then, even by the half-shots of the cameras that captured only parts of his body... very often in a quadruped position or in the vortex configuration, where it seems even bigger than it really is! In practice, the general structure of Devastator SS erected on the legs is quite in line with the CGI of the film... with its "V" shaped torso, which along with the long arms and short legs, is better identified with the "gorilla structure" (perhaps the only detail that is not very in line is the right leg which is a little too big... but for a perfect Long Haul in robot mode, there was no other solution); instead, Troublemaker DS is inspired by the structural design of Cheebs' concert art (definitely a little different from the CGI of the film...) which, for obvious reasons of difficulty of the project, led to many aesthetic / structural differences in the final product! So who has complained that Devastator SS is "too skinny"... well, you can feel comfortable because instead, is perfectly in line with the CGI of the film! Adding then the fact that, as some lucky people who have already completed it have shown, Devastator SS with its many joints can perform various positions, so it will be an interesting model on which to experiment with various personalized ideas, when it will be complete!
Got the Dr. Wu weapons set for TLK Prime.
I wish you well! Thank you for choosing to serve our great country, and as many have stated (in similar sentiment), we shall bid your return!
Great find! However, Troublemaker's combine mode in based more on the legend class constructions from the RotF toy line. Thus, making Overload a heftier part in the lower torso section of Devy.
And I know I haven't had many discussions with you @Megatron118, but good luck, serve our country well, and stay safe from Covid-19!
