Nothing weird here. Just two robots, with two equally effective disguises.

    I will miss Yautja :(

I just have an intuition they will all be the same small-Leader size as the three Trilogy Megatrons we've gotten. Hasbro's sizes for SS has been consistent per character even when it seems weird, like VW Bee and Camaro Bee, BB OP and Trilogy OP, and SLS and satelite Soundwave all being the same size. So new molds and better toys?

I like the roof version but wouldn't that figure have more back kibble?

Why wouldn't he be a voyagers? I can honestly see them just taking the TLK Voyagers Megatron, giving him better paint and retools the arms and face for his battle mask.

If we do get non-screen characters for Studio Series, I compiled a chart for their size classes and approximate IRL equivalents. Just for fun:

"Legion" Class - This puts them at the size of the Arcee triplets (7.5cm). Mohawk would also belong here someday.
    image9.png image48.png image50.png

Low-end Deluxe Class ("Scout Class") - This includes Carbots sans Lockdown, Shatter, Drift, and Dropkick (12-12.5cm).
    image4.png image14.png image16.png image24.png image32.png image44.png image38.png image51.png image55.png
*as in line with tradition, Lockdown is only a "Scout" in vehicle mode. In robot mode he grows into a small Voyager.

Deluxe Class - Lockdown, Ratchet, Crowbar, and Scrapmetal as size references (14cm). I was considering putting Payload in Voyager Class and Stockade is pretty much Crankcase.
    image7.png image28.png image58.png image12.png image15.png

Small Voyagers - Ironhide, Rampage, Brawl, Scrapper, Optimus etc. (15-16cm). Vans, tanks, pickups, most military vehicles, and some aerial Bots. Lockdown also belongs here in robot mode.
    image2.png image3.png image5.png image10.png image13.png image17.png image18.png image19.png image23.png image26.png image30.png image31.png image33.png image49.png image47.png image46.png image39.png image41.png image43.png

Large Voyagers ("Ultra Class") - Megatron and Starscream's sizes, or the same as the smaller Leaders (18-19cm). As you might notice Mindwipe already has a “SS” toy, his already existing Voyager!
    image25.png image29.png image37.png image42.png image54.png

Leader Class - SS Grimlock and Jetfire as a size reference (22-23cm).
    image6.png image22.png image35.png image52.png image57.png

Commander Class - Siege Jetfire (30cm). Stratosphere actually needs to be a little bigger. I would look for 35-40cm in height or as big as Devastator. The Dinobots would also belong here if Grimlock had a similarly-sized toy.
    image1.png

Titan Class - Same size as Fortress Maximus (60cm). No exceptions. Depth Charge was like 100ft tall, right?

I find it funny how we got a new Scorn figure in the TLK line even though he wasn't in the movie.

    Wait a minute...

A real M1 Abrams tank doesn't have those extra smaller turrets! That's not a real tank, that's a robot disguised as a tank!

Here's a piece of advice: never base the price on what TFSource says. They're wildly overpriced to the point of being funny sometimes. Also, their shipping is slow for me and they get stuff in stock way after a lot of other places.
To me if a figure is big, accurate in both modes AND has a simpler transformation that's actually a win. It means they were able to find clever and intuitive ways to have the figure convert, which is more interesting to me. But as you said, that's just IMO :)
Cool! Can't wait to see the results. The black and white were definitely not super dark/light respectively. All his parts seemed to be various shades of grey in that movie. The lighting of bay's movies sometimes really makes it hard to see the actual colors though since he often shoots at sundown or has light from explosions and such, so I tend to just like colors that are truer to the on-screen appearance as opposed to the "real" colors.
Whoa crazy! That actually sounds interesting. I wish I had found a way to work transformers into my education haha
I just had to check mine (mine is the straight KO) and it has all the appropriate markings. I couldn't even remember offhand! It's the one thing that bugs me about LT-02. I wish I had that autobot symbol on the truck hood :(  Maybe I'll even cut it off the real MPM...
Wasn't there a rumor that he was actually left over from the aoe toyline? Same with the voyager Optimus we got. MAN those toylines were lazy AF...

Wait, really? How comes we got a deluxe Scorn in the AOE toyline?

The toylines were lazy however SS seems to be making up for it which is great!

Agreed. He actually got a new mold whereas the rest got repaints which was weird. The repaints were better than the originals but they all deserved new molds and a spot in the movie.

    Thank you.

I doubt that. The quality of sculpting and their accuracy is way too good for the AOE line.

It makes sense since it's just too random for TLK. Scorn didn't even show up for one frame (like slug randomly). Plus TLK Optimus having the wrong arms makes more sense that way as well. And yeah, SS is totally making up for it! Scorn could have originally been getting a voyager, then maybe it was decided to have all the dinobots as deluxes so it was cut then a new one in a smaller scale was designed? This is all conjecture.
Hence why it might have been cut. But I dunno I'm just saying what I heard from some people here. Was it @Sol Fury that had this theory? Sorry if I'm misquoting you.
