I could agree with these. I like Wahlberg, and Cade was OK, Tessa was purely eye candy (great eye candy, but still eye candy), Shane was absolutely annoying, and Savoy was ridiculous. But I loved Tucci and Grammer's characters and their acting. Also, Hound and Drift were great. Crosshairs, eh.

Can't say I loved any of the new characters in TLK, though. Hopkins is great, as always, but I just hated that whole "Transformers have been here forever" crap.

 

To be fair, ROTF did have the transformers been here forever concept, but at least there the transformers were inactive and hiding. The whole "Transformers have been involved in every major event in human history since King Arthur and there's a secret order that keeps them all hidden from the textbooks why because fuck me we had 8 guys write this movie in under an hour" is utter bullshit.

 

That actually might make the movies more enjoyable for me. I shall go on a quest to forget the last 2.

Been there since 2014. Though to be honest I kinda warmed up to AOE because of the nostalgia. So AOE to me has been promoted from "didn't happen" to "official fan-fiction". Not TLK though. Never.

 

How much for SS-16 ratchet?

 

Jet Shatter has a great silhouette from the front but that backpack.....

I wish Hasbro could’ve taken the robot mode on Jet Shatter and found a way to make it work with the muscle car alt mode.

 

I agree completely except in regards to the Bee movie. The human drama is dialed up to an 11 (Hilariously, no one complains about the humans in this movie, not even the parents and they’re such huge assholes, yet characters like Ron and Judy Witwicky get a ton of shit. Or how Leo Spitz was labeled as a useless and pointless character, yet nobody labels Memo as those things) and the designs are meh. The film was released at a time where G1 absolutely dominates the brand. Sure Shatter, Dropkick, Bee, and NotStarscream all had the Bay aesthetic, but I expect that aesthetic to be abandoned in future films now that the Bee movie has been established as a reboot.

I’m looking forward to the future films to see what they do. In regards to the designs, since Hasbro seems to have a giant nostalgia boner for G1, I’m not really all that excited. Rather than take a cool and creative approach, I expect we’ll see the same stuff we’ve been seeing for a long time.

 

I honestly think he's the most underrated MPM, he doesn't get as much attention as he should

To those who customized their TLK Hot Rod (or customize figures in general), what do you think is a good kind of paint to match the Centenario's colors or at least be close to it?
