Interesting with Ironhide. I just opened mine last night and didn't do any transforming with him...but looking at him in Robot mode my first thought was he was too big. Of course it's been a while since I watched the movies.

I think I'll open Brawl tonight.

Jetpower seems more powerful, but the Jetwing is reusable and portable so I think it all evens out.

That is exactly what I think to! It makes sence, Que could have build the parts into something that could be caried around more subtile than having half a Blackbird atatched to a Peterbilt truck.

I gotta go with Powerup Prime. Jetwing is Optimus with a jetpack on while Powerup Prime is a full-body upgrade.

If all you care about is scale and not if it's a good and accurate figure... size isn't everything!

Jetwing is much more versatile though. He has all the extra weapons and is more agile. Jetpower is a powerhouse but Jetwing is more refined and balanced. That's my headcanon anyways.

I will say that Soundwave arriving was the result of a very happy accident. I had the Deluxe Wave preordered on Amazon since July. There was no shipment estimate in sight so when Hasbro Pulse offered 20% off a few weeks back I cancelled everything on Amazon and went for Pulse. The only one I didn't cancel was Soundwave, since he was sold out on Pulse. And then a week later, he has a shipping date and here he is! I wonder if i would have Bee and Arcee now too if i didn't cancel...

 

That's not a bad way of looking at it. I was looking objectively as which one makes Optimus himself more powerful and robust and I think that's Jetpower. However, I'm incredibly biased towards Jetwing because DOTM is my favorite film and is really cool looking.
To look at it differently though, let's look at body count, Jetpower killed The Fallen and wrecked Megatron like he was a hatchling.

Jetwing took down the driller single handedly and mowed down 4-5 Cons in a matter of what, 30 seconds? Not to mention, Jetwing, with it's agility, was able to give Prime the momentum to get the upper hand on Shockwave.

Plus, the entire trailer armory (if we are including that in the comparison) is a much wider array of weapons and tools for Prime to use than just parts from a corpse.

I dunno. It's hard to say what wins over the other.   where's some good old tech specs when you need 'em?
