Me and my wife made a fun tip to Universal Studios last week and we got to see this absolute U N I T in person. Very good looking spiky boy.

 

Not gonna lie you guys, but I think the new one looks worse. The hands and the faux chest just make this figure look like a cheapie kiddie toy like the spark igniters or whatever. :-/

Why is everyone worried that not all the Bay-verse Transformers will get made? Further, how many more bots need to be made to cover all 5 movies? I'm not being sarcastic, I really don't know. I've been a passive Transformers fan so I don't know how many off the top of my head. Not counting the ones announced...

Has there been an announcement that the SS line is coming to an end? Have they said that they are going to shift focus to Bumblebee and subsequent movies only? To me it seems like the line is doing well...so as long as it keeps making them money they will keep mining what they have. Meaning they will look for bots to make...and if there are unmade bots from the Bay movies they will make those.

It's not uncommon for toy lines to focus more on the most recent movie while mixing in past movies into the waves.

The left leg is harder to get into position for alt mode compared to the right leg, this is an issue for me in all three versions of the mold.

 

I had a lot of fun posing this around and trying to make him look complete :')! its going to be awesome!

 

Yeah, I agree with you. The hands are disappointing and the wing backpack is rather large but I don't really mind honestly. She looks great, and it's a step up from the previous deluxe. And I find that sometimes figures look worse in pics/vids however in hand they look pretty good. Maybe it's just how I pose them.

Studio Series is such a successful line, I doubt it'll end with some important characters left. SS is going to go through 2020 and 2021 (I think) so I'm sure we'll get many more characters such as Jolt and Hot Rod etc.

After all, we did get the Arcee triplets and they didn't really have a role in ROTF. We have time for more characters to come.

Back and forth, back and forth. I'm sick and tired of it! Not everyone will be happy but we have to accept that. I loved the movies and the robot designs but I wouldn't mind G1 designs as long as they had movie elements in them. I don't want an exact G1 copy. Going with G1 is the safe route. They changed the designs for the movies and the films didn't do too well; the designs did probably impact the success of the movies in a way. Many hate movie designs however lots of people loved a change!

Just a thought:
The voyager case has 2 SS54 Megatrons. That could be why Amazon decided to break street date on him.

The voyager case has 1 Mixmaster. So, if they have Megatrons up for sale, then they also have Mixmasters in their warehouse.

 

Honestly, fuck the whole catering to Geewunn mindset, if it has nothing to do with G1 then they have no place to complain. SS was founded for the Bayformers designs, the reboot stuff should end after Blitzwing so we can get back to what actual fans of bay want.

No one ever said there's a 2021 deadline. That's how rumors get started! It's been confirmed that studio series will carry into 2021 AT LEAST. It may end there it may go to the year 2045 we don't know. But the 2021 thing has been said by sources both official and unofficial.

Hah! This is how I felt. Funny how hot rod and megatron were my least anticipated from the new waves but they went up as in stock first, therefore capitalizing on my impatience so I ordered both. Megs shipped today. What is with the new deluxes not being listed on amazon?? I keep looking to at least preorder them there but all there is is some weird 3rd party listings. I want the arcee sisters so damn badly...

I mean let's get real here, the only reason anyone watches tonton's reviews is cause he gets figures before anyone else. He's not a good reviewer and he doesn't have a great camera or a sense of how to pose the figures (does anyone remember Scavenger sexually assaulting Optimus??) and he's not super thorough (although he does a good job considering English isn't his native language), which frustrates me because a lot of people base their entire opinion of a figure on early pics or prototypes and comment relentlessly on how bad they look when all they need is a decent picture!

 

the KSI army is ready to rampage. All that they're waiting for is Galvatron (and hopefully a better Junkheap)

Find it odd its taking so long to get figures for the main bad guys of the films. Sure we have confirmation of Sentinel Prime but still no word on The Fallen or Galvatron.

 

Honestly, after all the shit the movie fans have had to deal with for 12 years (and still do), it's completely justifiable. The G1 purists on the board are the most spoiled rotten bunch in this fandom.
