Did some math to figure out if the arcee sisters are mpm scale. And by "math" I mean "putting my ramblings into a pages doc" (also the first "calcultaion" was before I knew how big they both were irl):

LOL. I probably should have specified that this was from a class I took where we did a case study with Ford and Ford gave us Amazon gift cards. It's just being distributed to us through the university because of institutional things.   Still, money is money, so I'm not complaining.

3 nays, 1 aye, and 1 maybe. Seems like most want me to make sure my life expenses are paid first which is a good, healthy habit to have in this hobby.  

I think I'm going to hold out. It's going to take a lot of restraint while all of you are posting gorgeous pictures of Wave 8 (especially since I've finally caught up and no longer have a back log of figures) but I need to do what is financially responsible. These toys will be around for a while. As Fc203 pointed out, Soundwave and Shockwave will be in Wave 9 so they will be plentiful. Plus, the added benefit of getting them on a possible discount too which has been a constant in all of my other studio series purchases.

So, thanks for your input guys! Enjoy your plastic crack! I'm gonna spend some time enjoying my other SS figures in the meantime.

 

I couldn't get them all side by side. Scavenger and Mixmaster are wide. Scavenger has a rod piece that attaches to Mixmaster's wheels on the inside.

 

Still looks good to me. Imagine the day Scrapper and Overload are in that shot.

 

That background stage/diorama is huge. Do you have a photo of it showing how big it is inside that room?

 

Would you guys want me to post a review on Mixmaster at the reviews section?

This is four FEXT sci-fi 03 sets put together. Since I didn't put in supports at the very front, the sides / ceiling will droop a bit at this size.

Instructions are awful. There are pieces that look just about the same but function differently. Had to take apart and reassemble multiple times due to that. The sets also skimp on the number of inter-panel pieces, so I had to add more floating platforms than I originally wanted. Otherwise, looks nice when it's all done. Pieces go together sorta like Legos but much harder to take apart.

The clear light panels are useful for those who like to take pictures.

 

I really need Shockwave as much as I need Soundwave.

I think so... I don't know for sure cause I don't have them in person or have seen them with mpms irl, but on the other hand @erwinsims liked it and he's the king of movieverse scale, so it's probably right.
