So you're saying the Trax Drones have a chance?

I completely agree. My original DOTM toys quickly hit the sales pile when Studio Series was proving how good it is.

The 2nd Shatter and Dropkick SS figures almost feel like apologies for the first ones.

Going forward in the case of future TF films, Hasbro should wait till they get access to the cgi models before working on the Studio Series figures and give the designers more time.

All the other lines can base their stuff off concept art and rush to get their stuff on shelves in time for film releases, while the Studio Series can wait.

That’s assuming another film will release before the line ends.

I'm very tempted to order them and see if they ship this week. TRU did get MPM Jazz in way before a lot of other retailers.

You could try. Your order may just be in processing for a while.

Today’s haul! Been passively hunting for one for a while now. Glad to finally own it.
    Now to find a Soundwave.

Pulled my whole movie collection of TFs down from the attic (they went into storage when I went to University). I definitely had a more ‘optimistic’, fond memory of how ‘great’ they were vs my (personal) view of collecting Studio Series. In my mind SS was great for getting new characters but the old RotF and DotM were best, boy was I wrong. Comparing each of my old TFs to the new ones. Well I’m certainly happy I have jumped on board SS completely the past month or so.

All the old TFs got put on ebay and have all sold save for Mixmaster & Shockwave (unsuprising considering their incoming SS versions). Nice to have a bit of a money bonus going into Christmas considering they were just sat in a box doing nothing.

I also forgot to ask and sorry to bother you. Has Hasbro completely abandoned Mirage/Dino?

My only disappointment is the fact the two best versions of them don't share the same vehicle :(

I got the pen vise on amazon and it's perfect for driling from 0.25mm to 3mm holes. I can send some dowel pins for free just pay shipping. I have so many I'll probably never use. 1.5mm Paperclips are nice too but they are bendable and sometimes don't hold. I've never actually used paperclips as pins so don't quote me on that. The dowel pin I used was a perfect fit for the backpack and I didn't have to trim it at all (which is nearly impossible to do).

Just got my fwi weapons kit for Prime and I would've loved to see Optimus holding a dual wield sword and shield against Sentinel's dual wield and shield in the movie. That would've been epic.

The odds that they'll never get official triple-changer figures is worse.

Nice, I love this figure. I do want a new one since theres a few things that urk me. The way the shoulders work are weird as they should work like Ironhides. They should be connected to the chest or back.

The other is of course the piss poor knee articulation.

If only they figured out better placements for both sets of tires. One set should be in his chest (again, like Ironhide). The other is in his legs I think? I'll have to double check his cgi model.

If I had the skill and money to print my own figures Que/Wheeljack would be the very first.

    I'm really curious about that
Edit:there's a similar thing behind the prime display that shows the actual models but that character is still silhouetted
