Don't think I've seen this here yet.
Trans Craft TC-02
Is there anyone who can help me find the doorpanels of the “ultimate” Optimus Prime?
Real or KO either is fine and the color is no issue since he will get a full respray.
A junker is fine to if it has the panels.
I am close to finish the work on my custom but since I started with a junker that did not have those parts, I am a little lost.
these are the panels I need.
oh, and since the trailer is next, I have 2 of those ultimate guns I dont need and cant store in the trailers (they will be 4 cm’s slimmer and become the armoury)
If anyone needs one or has those panels, please P.m. me!
What are all these figures
What do you mean, bro, that looks amazing! They totally hit it out of the park in here!
Black Apple Optimus (Modified MPM-4 KO)
Black Mamba Ironhide (MPM-6 KO)
Iron Warrior Ratchet (Not transformable)
MPM-3 Bumblebee (custom i believe)
Black Mamba Sideswipe (Sidearm KO)
Welcome to the club!
Welcome to unimaginable torture
Hope you enjoy your stay
Speaking of Jetfire, I transformed my ROTF Jetfire back into its jet mode and compared it to Siege Jetfire. Transforming ROTF Jetfire isn't that pleasant of an experience for me, with the alt-mode panels didn't really want to pegs together securely and the tight ratchet joints makes positioning the limbs for the transformation not that fun.
Interestingly, ROTF Jetfire in jet mode is actually slightly longer than Siege Jetfire's despite being shorter in robot mode. They both has great shelf presence in alt mode however.
With no context, i was confused with 2007 Megatron and Rotf jetfire.
why do you customize him? He looks fine in truck mode and scales nicely with the rest of the SS bots
wel... I always found he was to wide and the trailer is way to wide as well.. Also I was never a fan of the frontwheels on the arm.
So in order to make him more accurate, I took 6mm out of the width of the truck,
Removed the inacurate conector between the toolbox and rear wheelarches (also shortened tge truckbed to match) and I cut the front wheelarches and wheels loose from the arms so they can now store on the heels where they belong.
I also missed the doors on his chest, So I will fix that as well.
While 6mm does not sound like a big deal, it really is, it pulls him in scale with the Studio Series and he is slowly becoming my favorite prime.
the trailer is 40 mm to wide so I need to remedy that to. (And see how to cut it up to make the armoury and jetpack.
(he is not done yet so dont mind the gap on the grille please, I need to fix that once I find another grille to extend it down and remove that round hinge )
and to show the difference:
WOW. That's the MPM Beetlebee I've been waiting for!
THANK YOU man I'm surprised it took that long for someone to say this and no one has said it on my instagram yet!
I have TransCraft Moxigan preordered so that should do nicely and I believe they'll even be in scale!
I hope you know that the upcoming leader Shockwave is like half PVC
That makes sense, but since nothing is perfect I think I can live with the fact that he is 6 mm wider than he needs to be)
Well I am weird like that, must be a designer thing that those details drive me insane.. it is a fun figure trough, modded or not!
well in that case I'd like to know your opinion about Ironhide. Is it just me or is he a just a little small compared to the carbots ?
He scales good enough, I know all vehiclesizes and have them scaled down to SS Scale. He fits right in.
Remember you look at them from above, not a normal way to see the cars. The only one that needs to be bigger is Ratchet.
Prime needs an upsize too, if not more than Ratchet. His truck is absurdly small and scrawny.
