Do you guys think we're getting MPM Frenzy this time with Starscream???
Probably unlikely honestly, I feel like they would’ve released him with Megatron or Barricade but who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us
Ok. So through some secretive and unknown means I have gotten access to a finished release of Devastator. And it brings me great sorrow to say that I am incredibly disappointed.
The articulation on the finished product is absolute abysmal. The sculpting detail is completely inaccurate to the CG model and the advertisements they’ve been pumping out. The paint! By god the paint is bland! This hunk of scrap looks like a happy new toy! Don’t even get me started on Mixmaster, Scavenger, and Overload. They can’t uncombine. I guess for the final release Hastak decided to take some creative liberties and make them all one figure, but even then what is that supposed to be? It doesn’t even transform into a construction vehicle for Christ’s sake! It’s some kind of Cybertronian anti air emplacement.
As you can clearly see here, Hastak led us on with false promises for Devastator. I don’t know if this is some kind of sick joke or what, but I have completely lost faith in this company without a shadow of a doubt. They have ruined Transformers. FOREVER!!!
Long Haul is the wrong shade of green. Worst toy ever.
I’m not proud of this, but here you go:
how could anyone say no to that reference
“I see you’ve played Knifey-Spoony before...”
Hoping we get Hound, Crosshairs, and Dino in Studio Series next year.
Need to get Mohawk so he can have his dagger opposite of the real knife.
Got SS DOTM Megatron lately and I'm replacing my old DOTM Megatron with it. Heightwise it's similar to SS ROTF Megatron but has substantially more mass. I like it aside from the alt mode being somewhat finnicky to tab together, worst thing I hate are the PVC hands. Seems like Hasbro's been on a PVC lovefest since AOE, thank god they've largely moved away from chrome since.
Dig the sculpt, paint and cloth hood, always liked the character design.
Also got DOTM Prime, the painted windows are disappointing as is the lack of clearance when the melee weapons are held. To get around that, I sometimes unhinge the forearm panels. Otherwise the figure has a neat transformation and as cheap as the trailer looks, I'm glad it's not finicky to transform. Also like how the axe, guns, shield and sword have dedicated storage spots.
I still like SS05 as it has better knee range and that color palette is awesome(dark gunmetal grey works great for movie Prime).
Transformation has a few more tricks on SS DOTM Prime, I like how the gun can store on the back in robot mode. It's intuitive while being a little challenging. Haven't combined Jetfire yet.
As an Australian I'll let this pass, just this once. Cultural appropriation is not a joke.
Transformers Masterpiece Movie Series Autobot Jazz MPM-9 - Exclusive - Entertainment Earth
MPM Jazz is in stock at Entertainment Earth, with free shipping.
I think there is an active discount code for $15 off.
A pair of Jetfires, one white and one black.....
One thing for sure, they both transforms into some kind of huge aircraft through.
Not gonna lie, I kinda miss my ROTF Jetfire
(Inserts ad about sales thread)
one was buried beneath the ice, the other turned into a museum piece, and were only saved/reactivated because they were needed
Both used as “thing to move plot along”. Poor jetfire ...
Scorn and Son
However he turns out - I like the individual bot modes enough to keep them that way, so any combined mode is just a bonus that I may or not use. I'll at least try it out.
kind of odd considering how I realy did not like that movie, or the look of the OG designs at all. But the new toys just won me over and I could not resist picking them up.
