All the other stuff is great but this Roadbuster news has me hyped!! I fricken love that character for so many reasons and if he is finally getting the weaponized mode he deserves I seriously can't wait!!

2020 might turn out to be my favorite year of Transformers.

Sideswipe is such a fun figure! I really need to take him off my shelf and mess with him more.

 

Ebay, which normally works well (unless a seller goes rogue, in which case I have to wait 2 months to get a refund). I got it from a Taiwanese seller with amazing ratings. I honestly doubt he scammed me, MPM Jazz was a figure that a lot of manufacturers stole from the factory so maybe something like that happened

Given the legends is two legs, I'd be very surprised to see the crab legs.

 

Got my Thunder Commander. He is GORGEOUS, but really unwieldy. Very stiff and hard to pose and way more panel-y. And I feel like every time I try and move him something comes undone. I think this will be a display centerpiece, cause he looks GOOD, but I'm glad I have the official MPM4 and I will continue to have lots of fun with it.

 

Well, I just transformed Jazz back into Solstice mode. Definitely more complex than the other car bots, but was at least able to do it without instructions.

I feel like his silver paint is already scuffed up, though. And one part of him seems to have a crack in the paint. I'm not sure if I should ask for a replacement (since at least some of these were present out of the box) or deal with it. One part of me says "Eh, it's bound to happen anyway, suck it up," but another part of me says "You paid over $70 for this thing and it should be pristine."

He really is good looking but I just can't get over those abs. I'm still so upset that they fumbled at the endzone with that.

 

Don't worry, mine was crazy stiff at first too but after playing around with it for a bit, the tabs and joints became way more manageable. But there definitely are a couple of parts that come undone when I play with him too often

But yeah, recently got Ironhide and I really like him, just those shoulders.... man they need to be locked into place. I hope I can find an upgrade kit for him at a decent price, cause some places to have them up at a fairly high mark up.

 

I feel like there's gotta be a better way to do it without modding. It seems like something's wrong. The original MPM compresses so much better in the chest.

Good to know thanks! I think he's gonna be a pose-photograph-pose-photograph put on the shelf type figure. I'm a bit disappointed but it does look amazing.

The MPM has the inward angle right, but it compresses in a bit too far though, if the ab pieces can rotate down more it should look fine.

 

You're right. Even on the original MPM, the bottoms of the abs stick out more than they should.

If we could find a way to modify it to get the downward angle right, he'd literally be the perfect OP figure.

 

Oh yeah, for sure. If I get him at some point I'll be messing around with the chest. Hopefully someone in the 3rd party thread can get it right.
