I mean, since the UT toys exist, Hasbro could always take inspiration from it. Hasbro also has superb mechanical detailing on the MPM's so it should be possible to make a better looking lockdown. Doubt we'll see an MPM lockdown until several years later tho lol

Stopped by Walmart last night and found a funny scene: all 3 SS Optimus Primes on the shelf at the same time. DOTM is not pictured because my girlfriend immediately took it because she was buying it for me as a Christmas gift :D . 20191110_224744.jpg

Worth pointing out this was the first time I've seen any of these figures at Walmart.

    These are fantastic photos!!

I know a year ago I was harping on Studio Series Prime for his armpit fenders and it still isn't a perfect figure but my gosh does he look heroic!
I owned the Battle Blades mold years ago and always though it was the definitive version of Prime, but now, it doesn't hold a candle to this mold.
I'm seriously excited to see how Sentinel Prime turns out because he was equally heroic looking and neither of his figures in the past were able to capture that.

How do you like the FWI weapons kit? I've been thinking about getting it for my Leader Prime but haven't quite felt ready to dump the money on it.

I like it a lot. Comes with a bunch of weapons that everyone can use. I wouldn't pay more than around say $30 for it though.

Could someone make a mold of the SS-01 Bumblebee's Head? Or if they have a spare could sell him off to me? I want it for the new Bumblebee.

I'm CERTAIN Hasbro would do a better job with Lockdown than Unique Toys.

I see what you did there. DOTM Shockwave scene. I like it!!
I was thinking about using the head from my Clunker Bee, but I think TLK Bee's head would fit better.

TonTon used his SS01's head in his review of the 07 Bee, and while the head did fit, I think it was too small.

So I'm thinking TLK Bee's head should be a better fit, but guess I'll find out when I get the 07 Bee...hopefully by the end of the month, according to Amazon.

    And just because..

To this day, I've never understood the racing nets in Bee's windows.

From my understanding, it was from a dropped subplot. I'm assuming something to do with the Wreckers. But I remember one of the other Bee toys (leader maybe?) had them as well.

I wonder if they’ll be included if we get a SS DOTM Bumblebee, considering his robot mode has actual windows on his door wings.

Depends on a lot of factors. MPM stuff is so hit or miss.

Despite their QC issues and lack of paint in some areas, they are easily the best versions of their characters.

    Loving this guy so far!

(I'm apparently in a very Megatron mood today)

Honestly, aside from better head and knee articulation, and a legit licensed Aventador alt mode, I don't see anyone doing a better job on Lockdown than UT did.

Oh for sure, not going to deny their shelf presence, I have them all. Just saying they’re hit or miss ... mostly due to their QC issues and lack of paint ;)
