I'm not too familiar with all of the 3rd party companies, do we know who is making this and is their other stuff any good?

Since I got my bonus at work today I decided it's time to pick my third SS leader. And it's DOTM Megs!
Sure he's got issues - the first transformation was hell because of the unclear instructions - I still like this figure.

Wow! That was fast! Ordered this fella yesterday!

    Megatron is here! image.jpg

Looks like we got our evil dude on the same day!
    cool!

Do you eman me with the Soundwave?
It was one of the first models I painted, the paint is -lets just say- not my best...
So I moved him to the parts bin, otherwise the figure is still intact

Fully agree with erwinsims, that WeiJang Hide Shadow/Blackout is amazing! Impressive size and the updates to his whole arm assembly really perfect the figure.

Otherwise I love Black Mamba's Ares Nitrogen simply because he can fit Human Alliance scale figures in his cockpit, he's been promoted to "honorary Shockwave stand-in" for my collection.

Dream Factory's God09-SteelClaw/Bonecrusher is a really strong third party figure as well, the transformation is slightly beyond ROTF leader Prime complexity but still far from the headache of stuff like ROTF voyager Mixmaster.

No, but by the looks of things he wil be tiny, I mean the Constructicons are not even in scale with each other and all are to small to work with any other SS figures.
So for scale purposes, I will keep my ROTF Mixmaster custom, I actually like him a lot.
and I will use my junker Mixmaster for reworking meg's legs and cab cause that is where this figure really needs some changes.

Thanks for your help guys....I'm getting a little out of control but damn, transforming is fun. I played around with SS-38 Optimus last night and I'm really impressed with how he goes together.

So I basically looked for marked down figures...I have SS-06 Starscream, SS-12 Brawl, SS-13 Megatron, SS-16 Ratchet, SS-17 Shadowrider, SS-18 Bumblebee, SS-33 Bonecrusher and SS-42 Long Haul all ordered and on the way.

Definitely some characters still to track down, but I might need a breather for a bit. I've dropped some coin over the last few days that I didn't plan on lol. But whatever...they are fun toys. I appreciate toys that can be fun. I'll just have to take a hard look at some of the stuff in my collection that's decidedly not fun.

I was able to fix it! For now... I had to use super glue on a couple really small parts so I’m not sure it will hold. But for now it’s OK I’ll just be very careful when transforming him.
Showz has it. TF-Direct has it too but they take a million years for anything to arrive at least for me. It’s only $5 everyone should have one! This is honestly the perfect size for this mold. He’s the size of a small deuce but just as functional and he’s even slightly better painted than the original since he has the chest flames!

Also apparently they’re doing a downsized TLK voyager Megatron too! I don’t have a link yet just screenshots from @capcomkai ’s Instagram:

I love the amount of detail Toyworld puts into their figures and the paint on them is fantastic! I just don't like how they keep teasing new figures which will never come out. Nevertheless, the figures they have made so far are quite cool! I love my Bulldog! However, I think I'll skip this one as I don't need more Bumblebee figures:p . Cool pics!

I was tempted on these, but I think last I checked you can't find them in stock anywhere, and they shot up in price on the secondary market.

Didn't dig Brawl out, but here are some comparisons in alt mode.
    Clunker Bee and Ironhide
    20191113_114957.jpg
    Jazz and Barricade
    20191113_114947.jpg
    Beetlebee and WWII Bumblebee 20191113_114937.jpg
And the two released Toyworld figures together
    Green Hornet and Bulldog

For a more permanent fix I can help if it breaks again. Let me know.
    He looks awesome and fun!

Unfortunately the Dreamfactory guys don't scale well with anything current. They were designed to scale with the RotF carbots. They're much too big for SS, and too small for MPM. Each of them is a good figure no doubt, but they don't really have a spot in a collection unless you're still using RotF bots.

You are not wrong, the cab is to small indeed. that is why I will swap it for the cab and such from the ROTF Mixmaster, they were the same truck and it gives me better wheels to work with. I am now figuring out how to make it all work altrough I do have an idea how I could get it all to fit, it is now testfitting and testing and probably will soon end up in a new Radicons custom tread like I always do.

I do not have the SS Brawl since I tought it was a little to small to bother with, converted to the SS Scale I collect (1:38/39) Based on the M1 Abrams tank, he should be around 25 cm in vehicle mode. By what I have seen he looks a little to small. I could check the leader someday to check if he scales properly but I believe he was a little to big.
