Agree with all this. I like the rotf Megs better but this one is essential too, IMO.
Nothing really new on this pic but it does highlight all of the new parts on WWII Hot Rod:
Legendary Nemesis Prime: Bandai effects, 3rd party Bruticus blasters, custom forearm side ports
Shatter and Dropkick: Nothing custom
Can you show where you made the cuts behind his ankles for the extra articulation?
At least scavenger is properly transformed
Man I love that new Megatron but I cannot unsee the new "enemy scrotum"
Looks like he’s taking a legendary dump
Sorry friend just joking
It’s not a clean cut but you can never see back there. Cut just enough to give clearance for the car kibble that sticks down. Gives him about 10 degrees of backwards lean which actually really helps. I’ve been trying to think of a way to add toe articulation too but that’s pretty advanced for me. Maybe @Lukelbs or @savio-prime could handle it.
Awe, looks like I missed some drama earlier. Damn, I love a good show.
OPTIMUS PRIME OUTTA FUCKIN NOWHERE.
For a sec there I thought that was Jeep Bee. I was about to say just throw whole damn mold a away Hasbro.
Imma have to give multiple ones. I just can't stick with one unfortunately.
Firstly, I'd have em redo Jazz. His backpack could've been way better and I would've given him a sword accessory like his 2007 toy.
My second choice would be Starscream. Do t get me wrong he's a nice toy but I wish they would've found a way to make his thrusters available on his back.
My 3rd choice would be Lockdown. He should've been way taller or something. That's my only complaint really.
My last choice choice would be Grimlock. They really really should've added at least one accessory with him. His staff obviously. The toy feels weird without it.
Hey gang, I figured I would post the link to my collection here one last time because it will not stay this way much longer!
Shadow25's Collection Update - 10 Years Later!
The room this is in has since flooded twice so these bookcases are starting to go. Luckily they will not crumple or anything so my collection is safe for now, but I'm renovating the room (including new flooring) and replacing these bookcases that I think are older than me, haha.
I'm planning on replacing with these. They're slightly larger than what I have now.
HEMNES Bookcase - dark gray stained - IKEA
Hoping it is all done by the end of winter.
Hey guys, can testors extreme lacquer be used for clear plastics? Is it safe? What is a safe paint to use for it? Thanks
From the incomplete prototype of Scrapper SS, the design method of its transformation is quite evident (it promises well, on the characteristic "movie accurate" in line with the CGI of the film); photo 1- the robot's arms are also the arms of the wheel loader (A - B); 2) the robot's shoulders have the same cylindrical shape, and it also has the two tubes, which are connected between the shoulders and the back of the CGI / concept art (B1 - B2); 3) the bust and legs are "folded like a wallet" in the alternative mode, it has the same broad structure of the pelvis, with the front wheels of the wheel loader at the ends (C - D - E); 4) the legs are interesting, they are divided into two vertical sections, the inner one is a connection to the two side wheels of the wheel loader, and the outer one, where one of the two sections of the bucket is connected (joined together, they form the whole bucket for the alternative mode, in addition to being the individual feet of the robot), united, they form the legs of the robot, divided, as well as for the alternative mode, the outer sections form two fingers of the right hand of Devastator SS (F -G -H -I)! But there is a detail that I don't like, Devastator CGI has four fingers for the right hand, Scrapper SS only three... one without a bucket... I hope at least that the final product has an additional "half bucket" in the box, to be hooked to the third finger (formed by the right arm of Scrapper SS, with pincer at the end)!
Great breakdown as always, but all I can think of is
"Are we demonstrating where the torso and upper arms are B1?"
"I think we are B2"
A classic favorite.
I just wish that reveal for Overload and Scrapper is soon. Toy Fair just seems too long.
I remember that show. I use to watch the birthday episode whenever my Birthday was on a Friday.
I'm a bit of a "Movieverse" mood for today....
Despite its small size, SS Jazz is still a pretty fun figure to mess around with. Mine has some paint scratches on the front engine hood piece after almost 2 years of handling (And I have no choice but to spray-painted it with bright silver paint to cover them up, causing mismatched colors), but the figure is still here with me and that's what matters more.
I actually wanted a copy of ROTF Brawn way back when I was a kid, but for some reason I could never found one. I did eventually bought and finally own one version of the mold in the form of this second-hand RTS Fallback, and for its age it isn't a bad figure at all. This figure is a bit of a shellformer and the hips really likes to pops off occasionally from the balljoints for some reason, but other than that it's a pretty cool-looking figure and RTS Fallback here did looks the part of being a tough powerhouse of an Autobot.
In my opinion, i think that the two feet together would make the front bucket too small, so there’s gotta be a third middle piece somewhere on that figure. Considering how mistransformed the rest of Devastator is, I wouldn’t say it’s far fertched to believe that they forgot to flip out his fourth digit.
Also side note; I need to buy SS Grimlock, cause he’s going to look BADASS posed to fight Devastator.
