After mulling this over I'd agree and say Lockdown. He's a major villain and while his figure is good, it's not great.
Getting his arms positioned to car mode and out to robot mode always makes me nervous. Especially since the shoulders are clear plastic.

The other figures I have minor nitpicks- common ones like Blackout's gun or Brawl's turret- but I've learned to live with those.

In what region, I'm from Mexico as well but from the north, and I think I might've seen some masterpieces on certain toy stores, and not too long ago a bee even I think.

I want Lockdown to scale better in Lamborghini mode but on one hand I like the fact he feels meaty and bulky unlike most SS Car Deluxes. Sometimes scale is worth defying to create a better toy, I guess.

Lockdown wasn't so terribly godawful anyway. I think of all the Wave 1-2 figures in most dire need of a redo, it's gotta be Ratchet. His quality is rubbish, he's painted like a KO, and is so lame and small in vehicle mode he might as well not transform at all. I think is robot mode scale is fine though, so is his engineering - he just feels unfinished. I want Hasbro to *finish* him and make him a figure worthy of being crowned the definite version of our favourite medic.

For me it would be same as you, Lockdown. If the backpack, arms and articulation is improved I bet it would be great. 2nd would be Ratchet but his problems are fixable like backpack mod and painting him.

Maybe we should just ignore people like that, the more replies he gets the more he feels he has something to add and like @zark225 said, this is the apreciation tread.. I would suggest hitting the ignore button.

I’m so happy with Hasbro’s current output guys. The movies may not be great but I’m really enjoying the Studio Series line. And while I’d love to see Hasbro put out more obscure G1 characters like Devcon, I’m happy to see them branch out and make use of characters and versions of characters from different series like Beast Wars and Animated. I can’t wait for Devastator to be completed! It’s so nice to have a community that also enjoys this line and everything it has to bring! Keep it up!

Okay, had to do a bunch of clean up here.
This is an APPRECIATION THREAD, so if you have overly negative gripes, there are about a thousand other outlets for you.
Also, report rather than respond. Responding with added snark doesn't help.

The two I would redo would be Lockdown and Brawl. See if the turtle shell can collapse a bit better, and maybe make him a little bigger in robot mode. I don't know how the scale is, but he should be about Prime's height, right? But then I haven't analysed the scale of things.

Brawl (I can't remember if he's wave 2 or not), I would have his barrel collapse into the turret, even if it's just a slider like generations warpath. Or a hinge at the base. Hanging out a smidge is fine if that's all they can do, but it needs to be a lot less obvious. I would also move his hand kibble up onto his shoulder to give his arms a bit more of an armoured look and make his hands look a lot less like blocks, ankle tilts would be nice but not essential, and have his turret able to rotate. Oh, and his mine sweepers on his chest/waist can slide in a bit so they are a bit more flush against his body.

Saying all that, I still love SS Brawl. So fun and full of character.

Excuse me for bringing back one of my old posts but I have just exactly what you're thinking of. Mostly.

Awesome! Love the enthusiasm and totally agree! Studio Series and the MPMs and some of the 3p output all at once is incredible. And everyone seems to be doing a pretty damn good job overall!
The real answer is he changed size a lot for various shots, but the scale chart says 22ft, which I think is the exact same height as Ratchet (somehow). So up to Prime's abdomen/chest approximately.
Haha whoa send that to hasbro ASAP!

As much as I can appreciate the guy making paper versions of TFs....theres always something suspicious to me about how he markets them as the preexisting figures? Especially when they're the newest, or old in demandfigures. Rubs me the wrong way.

Totally agree! As I am more an mpm and 3p (also ko, I admit), I have to say that it's difficult at the moment to keep up with all the new releases and announcements, every week there is something new. If I would buy everything I'd like to (also from many old releases that I still don't have), I'd probably dip into all my savings. And I would also be a homeless cause my wife would throw me out of our house!! Anyway, it's really exciting!

Actually I looked into this (I have them both at home) but It seems there is a little height issue with the front (legs, wheel nose of the car) I am still figuring out what I can do with it but I need to sort Ratchet’s rear wheels and paint my custom dreadbot.
Oh.. and start my custom movieverse Brawl (in scale of course)
