Thanks! I feel he's been a bit eclipsed by the MP, Studio Series and now Siege releases, which is a shame as this mould is such a cracker. The original '07 design is very Bayverse, with alien proportions and a super-ugly face, something which affected the Decepticons a lot to help prevent audiences from empathising with them as people. But I don't think they needed to worry about that, and TLK Barricade just rocks. The riot shield cheat is the icing on the cake, and gives him a hell of a lot of personality.

 

I'm genuinely surprised we never did get the bayverse Stunticons in some form. AOE would have been perfect for them since it was all a bunch of supercars and whatnot. Make Galvatron Motormaster, he has his 4 lieutenants, and the rest of the army is the corrupted KSI drones.

Or just have the four cars and a lorry turn up and do a chase through some streets.

And beautiful work on Stinger. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I love seeing pics of your customs together.

Was there really that many KSI supercars? I only remember 2: A 458 drone and a Huayra (Stinger).

I remember three following Galvatron into Hong Kong (one of them was Stinger but still). And given KSI was bringing in all those cars for scanning, and thinking about the scene where Galvatron wakes up his army, I remember there were a few cars dotted around there, I assumed they had a a fair few supercars running around (and a bin lorry for some reason). Certainly enough to make the Stunticons at any rate.

I disagree with this. A character doesn’t have to be G1-ified to be legitimized. In fact, that’s usually just an excuse for them to squeeze more money out of a mold by targeting the tf “general” fandom. Just look at siege barricade or hot shot. Not saying it’s a terrible thing, but it’s not something I find to be super exciting at all.

 

I believe there were a (white) Ferrari 458 Italia, A mclaren 570, the Cadillac cien prototype, Aston Martin DB11, Rolce Royce Drophead coupe and maybe a Jaguar? But there were several as I recall at the moment Galvatron “wakes up”

Well the Mercedes SLS AMG isn’t that small but a truck should be bigger.. thanks for the help, ill stick to my custom then!

Use a blow dryer or a heat gun to heat up the glued parts. It takes a long time, but if you do it right it should help the glue to become pliable and release its hold. Patience is key though.

I don't have the Takara one, but I do have a custom painted Hasbro release with 3D printed swords and part swapped windows. PM me if you're interested.

 

I remembered most of them just being those Chevy Trax drones, but i forgot about the scanning part of the labs. That place was filled with sportscars. I guess it was a nice opportunity to make the Stunticons.
