Holy shit you guys! I'm so lucky! Hasbro sent me this awesome promotional package free of charge! In terms of movieverse stuff there's a BBOP and an energon igniters Bumblebee! I'm speechless and I feel honored hehe It's for the 35th anniversary.

I thought his vehicle mode looked familiar and I was right!

Maybe they had to change it because Hummer didn't want them to make it after them (I'm not sure if Ratchet was licensed).

I haven't decided yet! I really love how it looks all together in the package (funny considering out MISB discussion!) but now that I didn't have to pay for him I really do wanna crack open the siege soundwave and the botbots especially. Funny cause this is my THIRD SS38 Optimus (sold one as a custom and kept one to paint and customize). I feel honored.

    Makes perfect sense now

It hurts quite a bit to see young children's Transformer graveyards. ^^ A little shard of dark Energon and you could imagine them rising as Megatons Zombie army :'(

unless you dont already own something in there, I would leave it in tact. it makes for a nice display piece having that stuff in there like that. anything i leave in a box, i place it at the back of the shelf, like a backdrop, then sort of build around it. get something else branded as 35th anniversary to go with it. maybe pair it with the upcoming 35th anniversary siege stuff.. just thinking out loud that's all.. either way that is a handsome set.

The H2 was GM, which they in particular had a deal with. Maybe Hasbro didn't want to pay another license fee for a vehicle not actually in the film.

I'm posting this here too, from the Feedback thread, so more eyes see it:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Ok soooooo....

I'm not here to stir the Hasbro vs Takara debat pot.....buuuuuuuut, the proof is in the puddin', right?

I returned my DISASTER of a Hasbro Longhaul last week, and pulled the trigger on a $45 shipped Amazon.jp Takara Longhaul. Thought, why not? Let's see if there's a difference.

OMG it's night and day difference. lol

Granted, I still had to remove the two hand screws, which allows the sides to compress properly, but as for the rest, IT'S A BRICK! See for yourself.

Also notable, the waist clicks and rotates perfectly. Zero bobble.

So I'm not saying to run out and spend the extra money, but I am saying, there STILL is a difference (for the better) with Takara versions.

    Yay working Longhaul! (cheer, applause)

P.S: I tried positioning this better lol but I don’t have a stand and megatrons too heavy and just falls off prime haha, but it’s supposed to be a reverse of the movie 1 scene where Optimus rides megatron in his plane mode. I don’t gave the mpm 8 so I couldn’t make the scene with him. Alsoooo that paper towel is Optimus’s cape, he’s Super-Cybertronian

Role swap with a twist! Switching out Optimus (from Megatron's face kick scene) with Mudflap, except Mudflap is Johnny Cage's biggest fan.

    Megatron, you've been caged!

Cool concept! Reminds me of this!

While Mindwipe has always been skilled at wiping minds, he's also notorious for leaving Skids marks... :lol :gen069:
