Yes, you need a hammer
Did not see that coming.
I thought that too, but in person it just seems weird and Bee seems too small, at least camaro bee does. Maybe it's to do with the mpm mould's weird proportions?
And yep, more parts for my super accurate and complete mess of an Optimus
Heavy/Scratch: - Optimus movie accurate transformation model
I took my trusty 8 way Husky screwdriver grabbed the figure in a way that he was gripped firmly. Took my screwdriver put it in place, the direction they say to pop it in also matters. Then find a hard surface. If you have a cut mat that helps. End of screw driver on mat. Hold firm push down towards screwdriver it will pop. Or take screwdriver place it against yourself. Push figure towards you. Both ways I have done it in the past.
Not sure if appreciation thread or devastation thread
How does his vehicle mode scale with Bee's?
Man, this guy IS amazing. I don't always share pics here, but this dude it's worth It, pics REALLY don't do him justice.
Indeed, if he had those ingenious hips of the MPM, he'd be a 12/10 for sure.
Big agree to this. Super glad that both Megatron and Jazz have all the accessories they should come with. Maybe down the line Takara can reissue the earlier MPMs with improved paint, more accessories, and better QC.
But what is the mysterious "this" in the that he is referring to?
Wayne: "Hey you gotta let me in, a bigger Bonecrusher is in there"
Security Jerk "Look man...... a lot of people's bigger Bonecrusher's are in here"
Alright, so I've stared at these pictures way too long and I should really be getting to bed but because I care way too much about this stuff and scale is always a thing on my mind I made a quick little college to help visualize it better.
Credits go to @Red Goblin, @Insurgent, and @NotMarluxiaXI for the photos.
It's a very quick and dirty comparison but I think it shows just how massive Megatron always was compared to Prime. Plus, seeing them both beside one another I really appreciate how much SS Prime resembles the silhouette of the CGI model. Despite my issues with the mold like the fender armpits, he comes together to look really accurate.
Okay. That's done. Goodnight.
God, I just love this figure and design so, so much.
Grimlock says Hulk’s line.
didn't bother to check, but i think they'll look fine together in vehicle mode
Oh I see! Well in that case I'm all for that then.
Ah, same... I did buy Siege Starscream recently because I really like the G1 Decepticon designs but there's no crack like bayverse crack lol
Meeting at the NEST base:
Would it bother you if you take a pic of him with some BB movie figs?
Ah ha! That got it. Many thanks. The instructions looked like the chest was meant to sit much further forward.
Here you go with Bee and Dropkick:
Wait, The models for Devastator and Ravage were in DOTM? What?!
I ended up using the pin tool they provide and a set of channel lock pliers. Just set the size of the channel locks to what you need to get one side on the end of the pin, and the other on the edge of where the pin comes out. Use firm pressure to get the pin started. Once there is enough out the other side, use needlenose pliers to grab. I found twisting while you pull it out helped. Good luck!
