First off, moms probably don't shop at toy dojo much, and the MSRP is $80 for MP Bee, so that's good for you but even with your insane discount $35 still almost double the price and that's on super deep discount.

Second, many (including myself) consider SS Jazz to be a hell of a lot of fun, so just judging it on how much plastic you get is silly. To me it's how much fun is the figure for the price. And even if you are judging on how much plastic you get, does MP Bee really have $80 worth of plastic?

Third, comparing the MP line to a main line is pretty pointless most of the time.

Not even close. He’s solid for ss and a cheaper figure but mpm iron looks 100 times better and more movie accurate. And it seems the qc issues aren’t as bad as some earlier copies. Granted it would be nice to be perfect it’s good to see it’s not that bad.

 

Did I shit on him? I bought him, I'm keeping him. I am an MP collector, and Bumblebee is a tiny figure to me.

has your source said anything about what or even how many exclusives we're getting next year compared to this year? And whether they will be actually new characters or just non-movie repaints like the golden versions of vw bee and mv1 bee (no hate for those that bought those, I just want to get as many characters done in SS as possible before the line ends)

 

I did say that the quality is the difference. No argument about the looks. I agree. MPM is far superior. So much so that I'm going to attempt to fix all of his QC issues.

 

From everything I've heard there is at least 2 besides drift as to who they are I haven't heard much but aren't Bumblebee repaints from what I understand Takara and Hasbro are trying to keep on equal playing field.

One exclusive I'm told has mini figs similar to drift and the mini dinos.

Takara stills needs to release the gold vw bee and Hasbro the rusty vw bee if they decide to keep it even.

 

This shit scared me more than that one Tumblr post about sloths releasing all their energy.

 

Yeah I agree with you there. Let me know how it goes fixing the issues you have. Mine is still awaiting shipping but it seems like it varies from copy to copy. Not sure what mine will come like but hopefully minor issues or stuff that’s fixable.

Lol: apparently it took David Willis nine fucking days to transform MPM-7 from robot to car mode once. I would ask how that is possible, even with how shitty the instructions apparently are - but because it's Willis, I already know the reason why is because he's such an arrogant douchebag that he would never stoop to the level of... watching a youtuber transforming a figure.

Turns out Hasbro didn't have any Beetlebees left to send me a replacement, so the hunt begins.

 

SS-05 Optimus Prime is so poseable and dynamic. I can't believe so many people dislike him. The only complaint I can think of is that he's a little bit too small.(sorry about the bad quality photos)
