Small? SS Jazz prefers to be considered "fun sized."

TLK was really, really sad. It had potential but it was just disappointing. But dang, it's been so long.
TF1 really did? Interesting. And if we count it Hightower too then yeah. That makes sense. I guess the jump isn't as insane as I thought it was. I guess it's because comparing Takara's SS numbers to Hasbro's, it's pretty much surprising for me.
Honestly, it's probably me just paying to the movie fonts on the box than on the instructions. I always thought both were different.

Yeah, the last two movie lines were pretty poop, especially TLK with the distribution and the detailing of figures. It's so lame and garbage, but hey. Studio Series has yet to disappoint me, but instead it gives me hope for the line to go really, really well. I'm hoping we will see all the Constructicons so I don't have to pay $700 for MISB Mixmaster and/or Long Haul. Here's hopes that SS will include at least every 'important' bot in there like Shockwave, Sentinel, Wreckers, Que/Wheeljack, Soundwave and many others. Now I'm having issues deciding which line to collect first. SS or WfC? I'm a fan of both right now. Ugh.

Yeah The 07 movie line was long it was before I got into the series I started with Rotf but yes 10 waves of deluxe figures

    6 - regulars
    3 - allspark power deluxe
    1 - premium series deluxe

Voyager and leader did the same ran longer but at times had premium series or allspark power as a branding

Oh, that ain't bad. Sounds pretty good to me. Damn, I wonder if this means there will be a SS Skywarp that will come out soon or if Hasbro will cover any off-screen characters from past lines like Flak, Guzzle, and Skyhammer. I really want SS versions of those three if Hasbro ever does any off-screen guys.

There might be a few mixed in if it runs long enough.

Bludgeon from brawl would be one of the ones I'd want.

I was just saying of the Long haul thread that Studio series has been an ideal line mostly because of many figures that everyone has been wanting. Just the question is how long is studio series going to last for?

It’ll go on as long as the money keeps running in. Maybe once Hasbro’s given all characters toys and finished milking SS01 to death will they finally end SS.

I'm hopeful that the Long Haul is real, but if it isn't well at least I have the still great ROTF version (even though I don't like the clear swords)

I think it will be Hasbro translating the success of their Marvel legends line in the realm of Transformers. This is a smart way to deal with the plethora of characters transformers has and Hasbro already owns the brand so more of the profit stays with them. "Studio series" the name is not limited to on-screen characters and has already incorporated a concept Thundercracker and two generic decepticon drones. I imagine they will extend the Studio series name to other iterations of the Transformers such as the 1987 movie, or Transformers Prime: Predacons rising to name the ones I am familiar with. No different than marvel legends that gives you the movie line, the comic line and variants. So Studio series is here to stay for better or worse (they might get rid of the numbering system if anything does get cut IMHO).
