Are you the guy who only cares about vehicle scale, or at I mistaking you for someone else? Cause Ratchet scales very very well in bot mode, so I’m happy.
Definitely not an unpopular opinion, we’re just less loud about it. These things serve the “bigger is always better” crowd, which I am not a part of. Only argument that makes any sense to me is the “I have a whole collection of bigger figures” argument, which doesn’t apply to me. However these OSKOs are often way too big even for the old rotf scale so they’re really for no one except people who just literally want more plastic for less money. Also they often add one or two more features to them but don’t correct other really obvious shortcomings that are forgiveable at voyager scale but are stupid as hell on a leader class or larger scale figure.

That's completely untrue. I enjoy buying things in all sizes. Using MP-10 and TLK Megatron as examples, I really like those designs so it was fun to buy them in every size between legends Megatron and the massive Rendsora and MPP-10. If I had the room for the 3 foot tall MPPP-10 I would buy that, too - not because bigger is better, but because it looks fun.

Scale people seem to often forget or ignore that scale just isn't important to everyone, or even a consideration. I didn't care about it when I was a kid and I don't care about it now. I just like fun toys. :)

I wish they still would put the level of transformation on the box, I loved that, I'm not sure why though.

He's not knocking on your likes or opinions, he's just saying that it's not for everyone.

Sorry yes it’s not something that I was trying to say is a hard rule for reasons why people buy them, but it is the majority of the people who post “I want an OSKO” posts on here, and it’s mostly why they’re made. You can buy whatever you want for whatever reason you want but it’s just of no interest to me. Usually if something comes out in a different size I want it to be as different as possible cause then it’s just cheap feeling making something small bigger.
Totally. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. I just wish those OSKO companies would put more work into things that I want to see, like normal sized (or just less huge) KOs with improved features and articulation. Or original 3P figures!
Haha OK good I thought so. If that’s your primary concern then yes he should be bigger but in bot mode he scales very well and looks great which is how I think most of us display and play with our figures.

I've noticed the same thing at the stores I visit. In fact my local Walmart have rid themselves of all the Studio Series figures after they had a meager amount of wave one.

I was also just thinking about how awesome it is that that after all this time we finally have good figures of the original Autobot cast that are relatively in bot mode scale, yet we have the wrong Bee. How is it that out of the, what is it, nine Bumblebees in the Studio Series line, none of them are the 2007 Camaro?

    I never said he was.

they’re really for no one except people who just literally want more plastic for less money.“

Doesn’t really translate at “its not for everyone.” I countered his claim using myself as an example.

Regardless, my only point was that scale is not for everyone, which was an indirect answer to the original question that anikenvader asked.

Aight my man, apologies then. You're reply felt a little aggressive, which is why I tried to clear the air, which I obviously failed at. But I understand where you're coming from.

Same thing at my local one. And my Target hasn't had any deluxes for weeks.

My target sold out of wave 3, so of course they ordered a ton of wave 2 figures instead of restocking on wave 1. Regardless they really seem to be flying off the shelves. I went there today after 3 days and they were all gone except a few megatrons and a handful of deluxes (and a couple wave 1 leaders that they also reordered).
