This one's gone through a number of changes and I still need to even out the paint and do touchups for certain parts. From the knees down/from the cab to the back end of the truck is completely new so I haven't added any paint there yet. I also need to dremel the inside of the back cab pieces so that they won't stick out due to the new legs/back of the truck. C+C is, as always, welcome.
Thanks! lol! No, he can't. And thanx! I was nervous doing this because the original Ironhide legs I had on him already makes him tall. With the new legs, he's about a head and a fourth shy of Leader RotF Optimus. lol.
Here's the way Huffer was originally before I switched the legs out in case anyone wanted to see. I like the new legs better personally (even tho' I miss those feet...I tried to put them on the new legs but it wasn't happening). I also thought about giving him longer arms but the arm length when stretched out straight is fairly close when not bent. Plus, the shorter arms gives me more of a Huffer vibe and longer arms I think would throw the visual weight distribution off. I think overall, the new version looks way more Huffer-ish whereas the previous version shown above doesn't stand like Huffer and just looks like an orange Ironhide (to me). I do think the size/proportions are more Huffer-ish tho' that I can't deny. I just like the big truck wheels like Huffer should have.
Regardless of how you do it, I would seriously recommend making him more proportionate. Vehicle mode looks boss!
