Especially with the SS constructicons, a MPM Devastator does seem plausible.

As someone who works in QA for software, they might as well have.

And, they didn't do jack shit about it either. When Trypticon had issues Hasbro took care of it. But for Movie Masterpiece figures? Nah.

Hopefully, the next Stateside Con will have information about the next two MPMs.
I'm still thinking they will be Starscream and Ratchet, but I'd be okay with Ratchet and Sideswipe.

I'm have MPM Jazz to keep me preoccupied for now. I still wish they'd given him a blue visor. I'm trying to figure out if the blue visor on Black Mamba's Jazz can somehow be used on MPM Jazz.

Were they actually confirmed? I saw these rumoured listings in another thread:

MPM “1” (supposedly priced at $249.99 CAD)
MPM “2” (supposedly priced at $169.99 CAD)

Megatron is $250 and Ironhide is $150 in Canada so the prices for the two new ones above would line up well with Starscream and Ratchet. I sold my original MPM Starscream a long time ago so I’m hoping for a new one that has a good jet mode. And I really hope it’s the 2007 version because I’m not a fan of the tattoos from the sequels.

 

I forget exactly where but I remember we got solicitations through one of the regular channels. My minds a bit fuzzy so I don't remember where though. Starscream was specifically listed as Movie 1 Starscream, so I imagine he'd come without the silly Cybertronian tattoos.

A new listing just popped up in the TRU (?) system yesterday so hopefully we'll get a leak of the promotional product images soon.

 

So that would be approximately:
188.00usd for Starscream
128.00usd for Ratchet

That's doable, so long as any QC issues are minimal.

 

Just as a tip for anyone interested in MPMs. I live in Canada and we still have Toys R Us, but the MPMs are pretty expensive and tend to shelf warm until they go on clearance. The $120 figures like Bee, Barricade and Jazz will typically drop to $60-70 CAD on clearance.

But I’ve actually been buying most of my MPMs on Amazon Japan. They start off more expensive than Toys R Us but I’ve noticed that eventually the prices will drop quite a bit. Ironhide was $170 including tax from TRU but I got him for $80 CAD all in shipped to my door from AJ. I got Megs for $160 CAD all in from AJ instead of $282 with tax from TRU.

Also these prices would be even less for U.S. residents because you don’t pay import fees.

Back on topic I’m hoping they at least complete the 2007 movie cast. After Ratchet is complete they would have to do three Decepticons to finish off the cast which makes me think it won’t happen. But maybe they’ll start doing Autobots from the sequels so they’re still selling one of each faction per year. I think that will happen.

I would be happy if we could endly see the next two.... I start to get bored from all these new releases for ss and er and nothing for us mpm collectors... Even Beast Wars gets more new releases than mpms.... I start to think that I'll end collecting more OSKos from ss than mpms....
