So we've got MPM-11R for ROTF Starscream also releasing early in 2023. So MPM/ROTF is already beginning with StarScream and an MPM bee retool cant be far off I imagine

looping back to the previous quote. I suspect it'll be MPM-11R just due to pricing, Wouldnt be the first time weve seen this like how bee and barricade got reissued way back.
I'm hoping to be wrong and it actually is Bonecrusher or Brawl.

I wont be surprised if MPM is just all over the place from here on out with ROTF and MISC repaints already being done.

Funnily enough the ROTF deluxes are perfect in both modes. Ive got them in on my shelf with my MPM Setup

 

They definitely hold up well! I’ve got them in my small Studio Series display.
But I’d still gladly welcome Masterpiece versions. Which’ll probably never happen… they couldn’t even get Studio Series releases.

I meant to mention MPM-10R, oops. Thought he already released anyways? Was more referring to new molds when I mentioned getting started on RotF...any other repaints they can do for RotF besides Bumblebee and maybe Optimus Prime? I would say Blackout into Grindor, but isn't Grindor bigger? I assume that would require some retooling and upscaling at the least. Your Bee comment reminds me, is there still a rumor/possibility of a '77 Camaro Bee happening?

 

No idea, only that one is coming this year.

 

If anything i imagine they'll make an MPM tie in to this movie like they tried with BBM, like a retooled optimus or maybe primal

 

If we get a second MPM this year it’s definitely a ROTB tie in.

 

Probably Q3/Q4 again. I’d expect the Hasbro Asia reveal in the next few months. They’ve always been in the first few months of the year. Last year’s Blackout reveal was in April.

The ‘77 Camaro Bee rumor was debunked a while ago. It turned out to be the BB movie reissue in the Buzzworthy line.

Keep in mind that the Starscream and Optimus repaints are Takara exclusives.

 

Ah, I thought I heard the '77 Bumblebee rumor pop up again, but must've been something else. Forgot about the reveal timeline, looking forward to that. Didn't quite realize the repaints were Takara-only releases.

Guessing we probably will get a RotB MPM this year...Optimus Primal, perhaps? Would be a lot cooler than a retool of MPM12...and make more sense, at least to me.

 

It's a shame this line isn't more fleshed out to the point where some of the Bumblebee movie figures got MPM like Blitzwing or some of the cybertron versions of Wheeljack and Bumblebee.

 

I could totally see the 77 Camaro bee being done as a 2 in one for both ROTB and 07 bumblebee...
Headswap and some other replaceable parts perhaps.
If they did 2 releases separately, They could definitely reuse the car body panels at least right?

The Twins, Sideswipe, RotF Megatron, DotM Megatron, DotM Soundwave, and Shockwave would be at the top of my list.

The Constructicons, too, but I wouldn’t expect them to be in scale… obviously lol. If they could make them combine-able that would be amazing.
