Here is my take on a movie version of Unicron. He doesn't eat planets, but absorbs active planets' energy and then destroys it. He does so by first landing on the planet free fall style and then he will begin to dig in the crater left by his impact. When he reaches molten rock he lets out his tentacle things and absorbs the energy until the planet is frozen. He digs using like a mining laser from his chest while also just plowing at the ground with his arms. I also thought it would be kinda cool if there were a bunch of "devastators" using their vortex thing to clear out debris while he's digging but idk. The blue things are energon storage or something. I'll probably add a back view an alternate mode and an ACTION view soon. ANYWAYS here it is... I hope you like it. EDIT: I think legs don't make any sense on something this big...floating in space... UPDATE: Before: in case you want to see it. Mini optimus prime in the blue thing >_>

I love this!!! And your ideas about how he "eats" planets is AMAZING!!!! I really think this could work. I especially like the idea about how a bunch of Devastators could clear debris I would love to see this in the movie.
How big is he? If that's Prime in the little bubble down there, I think he should be far more detailed.

Trust me, I hear ya'. I've been working on my Photoshop piece for a week now and know exactly what you mean. But yeah, really great work. I had no idea we had so many uber Photoshop talents on this board. I thought I had this contest in the bag. hehe
You know....at first, I didn't like the idea of Unicron being in the third movie. But, after seeing this, I have completely changed my mind. That is freaking sexy and I love your ideas for him. Your version of Unicron and ::ONE::'s version of Bruticus should definitely be the winners!
This is my first response to ANYONE's concept drawings. Not only do I like your concept, but also your conceptualization for how he devours planets. It could give a sense of impending doom as he hurls through our solar system eating our moons and other planets with his main hunger aimed at Earth! I'd TOTALLY buy that and a toy of him in a heart beat. All I see his alt mode being is that of a solid, unobstructed black sphere with Cybertronian writing on him and words and markings on him from other dead planets. I wonder who his heralds would be and what they would look like?
