Movie Octopunch! One of the test designs I did, but didn't submit, for the movie design contest on the boards.
I don't often see anything in fan art that captures my imagination to be honest, but I LOVE this. Octopunch was one of my favourite G1 toys and I think this is absolutely spot on. Does the "shell" have an alt mode? and at the "unless he's fighting Prime"
Octopunch was my very first Transformer. I'm simply awed by the fantastic Movie-style treatment you've given him. What does this version of Octopunch transform into?
I think the robot mode is outstanding. You should just go ahead and attach a picture of the car he can turn into, so people won't keep asking hehehe. BTW, you realize you can simply right-click your attachments, save link location (firefox, don't remember the IE choice of words), and then paste that into the IMG button's pop-up, instead of having to attach an image, and then go to another site, and then copy and paste info back into your thread just to get the same image to show up full-size.
Heh, I had thought about drawing up a movie-verse Octopunch myself recently. I think yours is a fairly unique take on the idea. I like that the head is the little crab bot. That's a cool concept.
That is the BOMB! i lovee everything!! especally the Escape destruction...unless he's fight prime GIVE ME YOUR FACEEE! though im not really sure about the Alt mode though.....id say a water vehical would probly have been better, but other than that this looks amazing!!
