I normally hate posts like this, but I would like to call on everyone to post movie news in the Movie Forum.
I avoided spoilers of any kind for Revenge of the Fallen and I am trying to do the same for Transformers 2, but increasingly there are movie posts –with spoilers in the title, here in the ‘Transformers News and Rumors’ forum.

I’m not a moderator, I have no power, but I would just like to make the request: use the Movie Forum for movie news, please.

TF movie news are News and will /should be posted here.

But the posters of the news should enter spoil free thread tittles and use spoiler tags inside the thread. If the poster dont know how this work then I would advise not to post the news or go learn

 

I'm well aware of the front page filter, thanks.
But that only filters your front page.

I shouldn't have to avoid finding out about Comic Con or Masterpiece Rodimus Prime because people are using this forum for movie news.
There is a movie forum.

But the thing is: there is a movie forum.
War for Cybertron news goes in the War for Cybertron forum.
Comic news goes in the comic forum.
I don't think it's unreasonable to put movie news in the appropriate subforum.

 

But all that stuff would be posted on the front news page anyway. i don't see the problem here.

 

You arent going to be able to avoid spoilers no matter what forum movie news is posted in. People will take new images as their sigs and avatars, have information in their sigs, and post about the spoilers in completely unrelated topics.

The only way to avoid it is to avoid the TFW forum completely.

There is a big difference between "Movie news" and "Every little detail that has been discovered thus far gets a thread!" The staff at TFW can surely recognize and moderate the differences between the two.

Right now, out of the threads still one page 1 of the forum...

So what exactly is the movie forum for then?

And although I do appreciate the front page has the ability to hide movie news, that URL tag does not carry throughout the rest of the site as you navigate around.

 

Hello? News section = place where ALL news regarding Transformers is posted.

If you don't want to read Movie news, then don't bother clicking on those threads and just read the news threads that matter most to you.

 

I had to avoid most of the forum leading up to, and during animated season 3, because everyone was spoiling everything in every thread, whether it was about animated or not.

It sucks, but people here arent considerate. They will repeat spoiler stuff over and over in any thread they feel like it.

 

This is in no way an acceptable post for the news forum. Movie news belongs in the NEWS forum, hence the name. It's not called Transformers News and Rumors EXCEPT Movie News. It's called Transformers News and Rumors because all news is welcome and belongs here.
