Thx GAUGE0001, I did use Gunze Metaliser paint on the threads, but it didn't really show. Maybe I should try something else next time. I am still pretty new to Transformers, so I didn't take it apart. Had to do it the old fashion way of masking and spraying. lol Sorry, I didn't quite catch the part about the mascara? Thx tony77tony77
I love the clean look of this Megatron. Its actually really refreshing to me. While I love the dry brushing technique, this sticks out to me more. Its even more impressive that you didn't even take it apart. Awesome work again.
Fantastic! I think this is a hard figure to get right - the mold is wonderful, but being that he's just varying shades of metallics in colour it's easy to produce something rather dull. I do wish his silly dogs cock lazer burst wasn't on display though...
At first I was going to pass on Leader Megatron. This paint job has convinced me otherwise. Excellent work!
Of all the megatrons I have seen, this is the best colour I ever seen, colour is even and the shading is nice and neat. The colour is striking. Well done!
A friend of mine (boardmember Stephenusprime) has been ravin' abt yr work to me. well I'm indeed very very impressed by it. keep it up bro. Btw how did you achieve the cool satin metallic paint effect on Megs? didja airbrushed two layer over coats of paints? (Undercoating it with a basic paintjob & then airbrushing another layer to Highlight and shade it?)
Why did you paint him like that? "I AM MEGATRON!" Why does he look so bada--? "I AM MEGATRON!" Seriously, flawless detailing. But the burning question I have is, where in the world did you get that SWEET freaking lava plate from?
