Okay. Been while since my last thread. and My question is which Lockdown is better?

I honestly prefer Animated Lockdown. For alot reasons he knows when attack and when not too. but I'll admit. Age of Extinction Lockdown. Has certain attacks. But I think they overpowered him in this film compared towards Animated. So mine is buying towards Animated Lockdown

By how they look, Movie, I hate Animated Lockdown's design. IDW Lockdown though....

 

I'm guessing this is design wise.
From what we've seen, I'm going with movie.

Don't jump to conclusion yet, we have not seen Movie Lockdown yet.

But I would go with Movie because the helmet head makes him look like a Boba Fett Bounty Hunter. I wish Deluxe Lockdown would have a helmet head.

i REALLY enjoyed animated lockdown, and i LOVE his toy.. but from what we've seen of AOE lockdown, i think AOE lockdown is better.

i find his look to be cooler ESPECIALLY with his helmet (or whatever you want to call it) on. the design features on his body are awesome, i LOVE the way he walks with such badass purpose..

they're a tie for vehicle mode. that lambo is just awesome looking, and his alt mode in animated is just plain mean.

so, so far, it's AOE lockdown. but, right now, i certainly like them both.

 

The one poll I can't vote on because I haven't seen movie Lockdown in action yet. You should've made this thread after the movie was released.

 

As a side topic, I must say that this scene and the movie scene are pretty darn similar.

- Who are you?
- Who sent you here?

- The gun and gunface transform in the same manner

- Optimus gets shot by surprise

- Presumably both get captured

Depends on which aspect we are talking about.

If it's as a character although we haven't seen the film yet the movie Decepticons are pretty much just there to get killed in the most brutal way possible so I'll pick Animated Lockdown as a character. Wasn't always a given in Animated that the Autobots could just kill everything in sight so it seemed like Lockdown had a chance at winning.

Designs. Honestly I never liked the Animated design of Lockdown so while I'm not a fan of the movie style robots I'll still take the movie design over the Animated design. Unless it was Kre-o then I think an Animated Lockdown Kre-o might be cooler than the movie Kre-o.

 

I like them both, but when I explained the Animated Lockdown to a friend of mine she's like... "Huh, sounds like he'd be a cartoon character that Juggalos would like." XD lol I about died.

 

I can't wait to hear it! I hope Bay kept that evil sense of humor from the cartoon! XD

 

You haven't seen the full scene, so you can't really say this.

Since we can only compare designs, Animated. But movie is cool looking.

 

My only concern is whether the toy pic we've seen of AOE Lockdown is the best possible transformation to robot mode...
