''Hot Shot is an young and energic Autobot. He loves the Desert races , that are called ''Rallys'' on earth , and everything about it : rust , dirt and speed. He is the most time in the deserts . He and his Autobot comrades are tracking in the deep deserts for Decepticons , until they're all detroyed.'' Sub-group: Desert tracker fraction : Autobot btw , sry that there are only a few images , the others are too big , so i got to make em tinier. gonna update this Thread soon!
Awesome concept, although I don't know too many people who would use their 09 Camaro for rally. But is badass none the less.
you beat my skillz again, and i don't know how you did it, i do my best, but i don't come close enough to you youth-skillz. awesome!
Overall, I really like this piece and the concept is very well thought out and executed. Great job I think this is the only thing I'd have remotely negative to say about it. While I can see reasons for choosing a Bumblebee for this project, I'd think another car shell (at least) would be better suited for this concept. That being said, I really don't have an alternate suggestion for another mold to work with, because the movie car molds tend to be the higher end sports cars (which is the problem). I'd say this all depends. The dry brushing of robot parts and such that we see a lot of on movie toys especially isn't that difficult to pull off. I'd even say that most of the weathering (like mud and such) isn't that bad either. With the few projects that I've done this way, the main thing I try to remember is basic physics when applying paint. Questions to constantly keep in mind while painting are things like "in what direction would this be flinging?" and "how is gravity pulling the dirt and grime on this part?" I'd also recommend getting some reference photos of the same type of weathered parts you're working on, like a dirtied up rally car for instance.
