Yes, but come on, the entirety of the Pagni's top is Stinger's arm. I'm sure they could have rearranged the kibble more efficiently. Plus, Firage is about the size of this Stinger and managed to accurately represent this:

Growing up in San Diego, a place famous for their Mexican food, I agree that Taco Bell is trash compared to the authentic stuff.

Anyways, I'm glad Stinger is getting a proper mold. That one Bumblebee repaint wasn't cutting it for me.

I honestly wish we get an official Mirage toy at some point, Ferrari shouldn't have to be THAT cold blooded over this liscence.

I'd love that too, but this is Ferrari we're talking about. They threatened to sue a guy who made a Ferrari limo iirc

This kind of paranoia is why no one buys/promotes their cars.

I agree....HOWEVER, we are comparing apples with oranges, mirage's design it's easier (like by 2 or 4 times) to make than stinger's. (aside form the comparison with a 3P product vs an offcial toy)

Stinger's design it's easily so complex, in the par with the AOE Prime or crosshairs.

Mirage is easier but not by much. The doors and the half his chest are the only visible kibble parts I see. I'm surprised how well Firage turned out.

Eh, I may be getting spoiled seeing all these 3rd party figures. I understand has Hasbro has an entirely different agenda when making their toys (easier, cheaper, and more kid-friendly).

They also have a smaller budget then for Stinger then AlienAttack does for Firage.

Ready to have our mind blown? Given takara’s release date for blackout, not only does he exist, but in all likelihood there exists physically, right now, a production leader class blackout, somewhere in either Vietnam or China.

They forced DJ Deadmaus to paint his car back to 'factory' color too. If we couldnt even get a re issue of the G1 Mirage I doubt we'll get a masterpiece one either. Plenty of die cast POS Ferraris (correct color red) in dollar general and some extremely gauche perfume though.. Yay!

Holy crap yessss!!!!! FINALLY! I really hope this means we get missed figures like onslaught, hooligan, Mohawk etc. Feel like the last 2 movie lines have been lacking compared to the previous movie figure range

we do need a real sideways as well as he wasnt accurate except for some parts of the leg details, arms...a bit, and head, [IMG]

also a better deluxe barricade , that is like the dotm but biggeR(he was pretty small even for a deluxe tbh) and whithout the diaper, and unlike sideways, he wouldnt need a completely new figure, just remold his mid torso section and crotch[IMG]

Why did they bother with the "movie edition" and didnt go straight to the Masterpiece line

It’s a shame, these are probably going to be the most accurate figures in terms of sculpted detail and transformation, but they’re going to suffer from the increasing lack of paint each subsequent line has. Stinger should have some silver on the feet and elsewhere, but it’s all just solid red. I really wish they’d give the movie figures the Platinum level decoes, given how they’re that much more expensive than the Generations figures now. It might reduce their profit margine, but it’d also mean people would be more willing to pay for them.

Same reason why there’s a G1 Masterpiece line and a Generations line: one’s a more affordable alternative to the other.
