So, I finally got a digital camera, and I've been going back and taking some photos of all the customs that I've done over the years. Here's some of the most recent paint-work that I've done: Arcee I fixed Arcee's bird-beak and added some highlights to her arms and boots. I also modded the bracket that attaches her exhaust pipe to her frame, so it grips much better now. Bumbleebee 'Bee got repainted like crazy; drybrushing, highlights, and yellow detailing. Then, I replaced some pegs that were looking pretty weak. Jazz Jazz just got some drybrushing and detailing. He was pretty much perfect from the get-go. I don't know why people were having problems with his arms; mine fold over and the tabs lock down, holding the arms together. Wreckage I repainted Wreckage to match his 'Stryker' concept art. I was really impressed with Jin's repaint, so I took a few cues from him, as well. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd welcome them. I'm short on cash, so he's going up on Ebay soon. I'll update with a link to the auction, if anyone is interested. I know folks have been painting in his translucent parts, but I like to keep all the action-features functional on my customs, and I count the light-piping as a feature. I dulled the surfaces on the red parts, though. You can't tell in the pics, but they resemble heated metal now, sort of like Optimus's blade in the movie.
