A Dream come true. After all these years I finally got my hands on a Deluxe Movie Mirage. I got this from Anime Export, and they were really fast on delivery. I now can order all my Takara stuff there.

Since there isn't one right now, I'm going to post a review on this. Sorry if my pictures are bad, I have a bad camera.

I've got to say, This is possibly one of the best Transformers Movie figures ever.

I know what the figure is suppose to be, but I would prefer the figure to look like what I have in the pictures, it would make it look less Sideways and more unique.

The positive side, That's a really great head sculpt. The negative side, I wish it was a ferrari and the blades could be a bit bigger. But hey, if Ferrari has a problem about licensing, I'll take what I can get.

I absolutely love this figure. I can finally say, "I finally have a red sports car Autobot in my team. I would totally recommend this figure. I give this a 9/10.

The Sideways mold was never very good to be honest, and it doesn't really work as Mirage.

 

That packaging art looks extremely ugly.

Still waiting on mine, but I'm feeling just the slightest tinge of regret. This isn't the best mold to use as MiraDino, but I'm a take-what-you-can-get kind of guy, so I'll just have to deal. That head sculpt is bitching, however.

 

Yeah, as others have said, I don't mind the Sideways mold, but it just does not work for me as Dino. Hell, a BH Smokescreen retool would've worked better.

 

I just ordered this guy from Robot Kingdom, along with the FWI-4 jetpack. I wouldn't have ordered it on its own, but I figured since I was buying something else I'd throw it in...
I'm looking forward to having a red Autobot car, and to modding him so it looks less and less like Sideways and more like the CGI model...

 

I certainly wouldn't call it one of the best movie toys ever, but it does fill the spot of Mirage, which is something that fans have wanted for a while now. Doesn't look like Mirage at all though. On the plus side, the new head sculpt and paintjob do look great.

 

Mine was just paid for yesterday. No regrets, looks fantastic. Needs an Autobot logo on the chest somewhere.

 

Just waiting on mine to ship (TFSource) Looks good, though I'm going to try the headsculpt one something else and see if it works.

 

Looks decent! I mean, of course it's off, but it's cool we get a Mirage. Hasbro, take notice!

I know theres a lot of "sideways isnt suitable as Dino..." but I think its a great movie figure, great alt mode, great pain job, excellent accessories and really nice head sculpt! Great purchase IMO!

 

I'm glad I got him. Now when I play with him, I've to learn how to speak Italian.

 

Where do the blades go in car mode? Under?

 

Looks like there are holes in the blades that plug into the transformation pegs on the feet. So theoretically, you can have leg blades.

You are correct. The blades hook on to the leg pegs in car mode. I'll post a picture if I have time.
