Sporting a completely different look compared to his G1 counterpart, alt mode wasn't a jeep and he was red. Little did I realize that while the alt mode was different the color on him was used for a G2 version of Swindle, only it also had the camo paint job that was shared along the components of Bruticus. This figure sadly didn't have that minor detail and that's was truly different about this repaint. Sure the 2007 mold didn't have it but the old color scheme made for a rather bland take on an iconic character. Now Swindle has returned, now with an even better paint job, at least better than before. An interesting note, this guy is what I would call the "Sex Pistol" of the movie line, in which he was down and dirty before Michael Bay got his hands on Devastator. I'm honestly not that crazy about the camo theme in general, but bot mode looks great and I love the shine in alt mode.
