Well, that's typical, my Camo Khan shows up the same exact day as the Frog Monger announcement! Collecting Origins sometimes feels like a relay race. That Frog Monger torso has all the same detail as the vintage Modulok torso, can't wait!
Scott Neitlich is gleefully announcing Masterverse and Origins is ending this April. At retail at least.
I’ll believe when/if it happens. Origins and Masterverse are my two favorite lines to collect and soon to be only the way my life is going financially. I never liked the guy or his videos, always came as him wishfully hoping these two lines would fail from the start. I’m hoping I can find Masterverse New Adventures He-Man and Two Bad tomorrow when I get paid anyway, all caught on Origins till the Frog on Tuesday and I’m excited for the Snake Armor Skeletor wave.

Well, he's claiming his three sources confirmed both Origins AND Masterverse are gone from retail by April, but not necessarily online sales. So we'll see. They could still carry on the line online but who knows if that would work. Also, consider the source of this news. He could be 100% wrong.
I tend to doompost about Origins a bit, but the doomposting this fool does is insane. It gets so tiring to hear this guy spew the same things over and over to capitalize on Youtube views. Even if MOTU was done at regular retail, it could still strive on online retailers and still technically be a "retail" line.

Oh yeah, right, Target just added 2 more MOTU exclusives to their SKU in January so they can cancel the line entirely in April, that's totally logical. He's like a jealous ex, it's just sad. Eh. I tried ignoring him. Then I tried arguing he might be innocently mistaken and biased. Now, I think he's lying. He says he has three sources and a memo. He needs to be pressured into releasing them then. Because it's not enough to ignore this guy. He posts something like this and several thousand people per day see it and most of those don't know that he's full of BS. I wish Mattel would C&D him. But folks need to pressure him into sharing his so-called sources in the meantime.
