I could have sworn someone reported that was Mattel's word on it at the display case at SDCC.

I may have. I was at SDCC. I didn't speak with Mattel reps directly. The two things I heard at the show from people at the actual booth who did were that Eternia would be "very expensive" according to a rep and that the Skeleton Warriors would be in a multipack at Mattel Creations that they were confident they'd have enough of.

It's gossip for my part but it's gossip I heard while standing in the Mattel booth. I was looking for a rep and asked someone standing there if they'd heard anything.

Take it with a grain of salt.

It would make a certain amount of sense to me. The skeletons involve a lot of tooling but the production run can be higher if they sell in sets of 2 to 5 per customer per sale. I could also see doing them as made-to-order with no purchase limit to make sure the run is big enough.

The same one that created Laser Light Skeletor.
I could see that ending up with the production of millions of those things.

If it was, say, £80 for four warriors, I'd be happy. If it was £100 or more, I'd be priced out.

Seeing as the display had a large number of skeleton guys, I'd imagine it's a pack of three to six figures.

Do we know if Walmart is going to be getting any of the latest waves at some point?

I've seen a lot of Snout Spout and Leech over the last month. My nearest Walmart got in the 200x, Pighead, and Mantenna last week.

The one area where they are somewhat ahead seems to be deluxes and vehicles. I have King Hiss and the ground ripper coming from them in about two week.

I'm not convinced that the Ground Ripper is all that fast. Mine took 36 hours to go from Dallas to Fort Worth.

If anybody still needs Webstor, Green Goddess, or LOP Beastman, that's the entire Origins selection at my closest Target. Masterverse represented by King Greyskull and Andra. Yes, Andra. At least it's only two (of four) and not the virtual mountain of King Greyskulls that nobody asked for.

No Marvel, a pair of beat up Landos, half a case of Snake Eyes movie Joes, McFarlane Drowned and evil dimension Green Lantern, and scattered TF Cyberverse bringing up the rear. The toy section looks practically overflowing but all that comes to mind is "water, water, everywhere, but not a drop to drink."

sounds like mine except my origins sections are basically all naked stratos and jitsu. Masterverse is just andra, grayskull and She-ra. I Wish I could find Webster and Green Godess, they never showed up around here.

    Heads up:

It would seem that Eternia is still available for purchase in the Shop app.

    Mistake? Who knows!

That's probably why the total number sold has continued to creel up.

I finally got a round tuit...

Anyways someone mentioned a few pages back about She-Ra's face. Before the current rerelease, there were at least 3 different versions that I know of. The first was the what I call the "no lash" look with old knees, later runs changed the eyes with old knees (which I have acquired) and finally new eyes with new knees.

I don't know of any "no lash" with new knee versions.
