I think international pricing is the big thing that held this back, coupled with a general lack of social media promotion by Mattel after the livestream.
IMHO, they should just confirm that they'll be adding Grayskull and Keclar to Mattel Creations as paid offerings. It's an extra $30 but so what? That's nothing to Eternia backers and it at least makes them available. If they want, they can do a $10 MC coupon for all backers as a "thank you" for getting so close.

I still think fulfillment of the figures is gonna be a clusterfuck. So they did say the figs will ship separately so some boxes will only get Moaty and some KG and Moaty, probably in those brown outer boxes. There was what about 7000 backers at the end of the early bird. So imagine being an early bird and not getting KG and calling customer service to find out there is none while people who backed last minute wind up with a KG. It’s Mattel so it’s probably going to be a mess.
Hopefully Keclar and the other Elders come to Mattel Creations later on. Probably be a neat set of three.
Maybe? I followed how the Macho Man worked. It shipped a couple of months behind the arena but I didn't see any issues except for lost ones. They did have extras for lost/damaged ones. The big nightmare I'm expecting is with change of addresses since a lot can happen in 18 months and Mattel is bad at things like address changes.
And Eternia is beyond my price range and will forever be a hole in my Origins collection. Totally bummed out. Seriously 1000$ CND for this thing was just too much for my budget at this time of the year. Had it been closer to tax return season things might have been better. Oh well.
i think the best solution is to put a slightly-different grayskull on mattel creations (perhaps a different shade of red for his cape? different shade of grey for his armour?) and give ALL backers a $10-15 coupon so they can get a good few dollars off him. Keclar should be a regular mattel creations release, as-is.

I thought hard about it, but I didn't back, if it had reached 10k last night I probably would have done so. Keclar, I think would be a good candidate for a single carded Mattel Creations release, since it's not being made any other way now. King Grayskull should not be released any other way. It was an incentive for backing and it is happening. To release it or a slightly modified version then destroys the incentives of any other possible future crowd-funding items since people will start to think "hey, if I do NOT back it... I'll just be able to get that incentive figure later and pay just for it".
If they are going to make a King Grayskull later on it should be 200X Grayskull since that's the one more people are familiar with.
Mekaneck and Ground Ripper are back up at BBTS for preorder again. 2nd quarter 2023 delivery, no mention of international packaging. I cancelled my preorder after the international packaging email came through, only to find out it was not international after all. Oh well. Got another on preorder now, and the wait won't hurt anything. Anyone know how long is left on the clock before Roton stops being exclusive?
