I would've gone with the Moat Monster as the early bird, Keclar as the 8k tier and King Grayskull as the 10k tier.

I was thinking the 5k backers would be reached by sometime Saturday but i'm having my doubts. It may be Sunday or Monday now. Personally I won't be backing it until next Wednesday which is the last day of the early bird period. Not tangling my money up faster than it has to be.

There will be a surge right before the early bird period ends and another before the whole campaign ends, with dry spells in between. I have faith that it will hit 8,000, but I'm not sure about the 10,000 tier. That outrageous extra cost for international buyers is probably the biggest thing holding people back.

Ya, that’s what I was trying to say. You put it more eloquently.

I’m waiting til next Wednesday for the same reason as you.

Anyone else feel Snake Mountain would look a little better with an optional floor on the right side?

Honestly, the more I see of Snake Mountain the more excited I'm getting for the release next year. I feel like even in it's current unfinished state, the design team has really knocked this one out of the park. That being said, I wouldn't hate at least a partial platform that would still allow for this cage/trapdoor gimmick to work:

Unless I missed something, it does have a trapdoor feature, already seen in action in videos.

Or, you mean something underneath? That might've been nice but I wonder how deep this playset is, might only have so much room to work with.

Yes, they should have made more improvements to greyskull. There they sticked to much to the originonal.
I will buy 2, just to support a company that does what lazy people say can't be done.

Sorry, I wasn't entirely clear in my response there. What I meant to say was that a full platform like what was suggested would interfere with that cool new cage/trapdoor gimmick. If they were to add a partial platform with an opening that still allowed for that gimmick, I would be 100% onboard. Otherwise, I'm fine with no platform on that side of Snake Mountain.

Gotcha! I do like that Mattel tried to keep some room to stand on the middle section, enough to be a bit precarious like some of the front spots, at least.

Also curious about what was being said about some "Filmation facade" for Snake Mountain. I'm definitely interested in it no matter what for my Evil Warriors but the vintage toy design doesn't capture my interest nearly as much as Filmation and later designs overall emphasizing the big snake as the peak.

The other dead giveaway is Sharella would have a bow not so much a sword.

I think next year they’re gonna charge into Powers of Grayskull for the theme. This way by time Eternia ships, you’ll have a nice built out group to surround it. The bigger art concept for Eternia box art has a portal with Eldor and He-Ro coming through. Also has Zodac on his chair and Mantisaur charging.

I wonder if that's related to credit score. My credit cards are mostly unused, and are offering 3% up front fee for 15mo at 0% interest. If the CC is running a 20% APR, even at a 5% fee you're paying the equivalent of 3 months interest and getting the remainder free. 12mo at 0% is still pretty useful for putting the whammy on CC debt.

Best practice is to back it, then find something else to occupy your time with. If you watch it daily, you'll only drive yourself crazy.

Maybe, but it's likely there to serve as a rib and strengthen the entire structure.

Nearly a full year later, and I'm still having great fun with these two.

The intended bad guys for PoG were largely intended to be Snake Men rereleases plus Megator. I'm curious to see what they'd do. They could do new/unreleased Snake Men but that wouldn't feel fresh and we're getting at least one this year. They could do Horde, I guess.
